The Elemental Sisters: Spirit

Chapter Chapter Twenty- One (Tyr)

I opened the door, annoyed by the interruption. "Yes?" I asked, looking at Ezryn and Mohan. They were the only ones that knew about this place. "Sorry, Prince Tyr, hope we didn't interrupt." Mohan apologized as he looked behind me and smirked.

"What do you want?" I asked, ignoring his comment.

"Your father wants an audience with you." Ezryn informed, and I nodded as he added, "Right now?"

"He can wait." I retorted annoyed.

"He thought you might say that and told us not to leave here without you. Or we are to arrest the sisters." "Very well."

Akasha stood up and walked over, "I'll head back."

"It's okay. This won't take long; you can wait here." I told her hoping she would stay.

"Thanks for the offer, but my sisters are probably looking for me or destroying the place."

"Okay, I'll see you later." I moved out of the way and let her leave as Mohan raised his eyebrows at me teasingly.

"Shut it, Mohan." I warned, as he shrugged and laughed.

Mohan and Ezryn led the way to the throne room. When the door opened, I saw my father waiting with my younger half brother Uda.

Prince Uda the interloper was sitting on the successor's throne; My father favoured him, and he didn't have to train or anything, his parents spoiling him from a young age. Prince Uda was on the chubby side and small stature like his mother, with his blonde hair cut short, framing his clean-shaven face.

Prince Uda looked at me with his menacing grey eyes as I entered the room. He was stuffing his face with pastries as usual. He followed my father to learn how to run the kingdom since he had named him heir over me, his true successor. The Kingdom disliked my brother as well and the only one wanting him to take over as King was his parents. The people recognized me as successor and my mother as the true queen.

I have been working with the army and the people to overthrow my father's decision and prevent my brother from taking the throne.

"You wanted to speak to me?" I asked as Prince Uda glared at me.

“I heard you are spending a lot of time with... our guests." My father stated, disgusted.

"Is there something wrong with that?"

"There is if they are frauds."

I told you before, they are not frauds and have already proven to me and my men that they are who they say they are."

"Your men are idiots!"

I bit my tongue but didn't respond, "What do you want me for, father?"

"I want you to stay away from them. After tomorrow, they won't be a problem anymore, they will prove themselves liars and Taoen will expose of them."

"Or they will prove themselves and you will have to bow your head and ask for forgiveness."

"Watch your tongue, boy!" he roared.

"You forget we are at war with the Goblins and the Drow. They could be helpful to defeat both, yet you are too blinded to see what is right in front of your face." I spat. "Check your words or you will spend the night in the dungeon. I want you to stay away from them, and that is an order."

"Yes, sire." I agreed, bowing my head, knowing I would not be following his orders. I turned and left, noticing the smile on my brother's face. What was he up to now?

I exited the throne room and turned to Ezryn and Mohan. "Double the men guarding the sisters. I don't trust my father or brother."

"Yes, your highness." Ezryn answered as he bowed and walked off to share my orders.

"Do you think they are planning something?" Mohan asked, falling into step with me.

"I believe so, I believe they are determined to destroy our kingdom and I can't let that happen. I know Akasha and her sisters are who they say they are and yet my father is blind to it." "Maybe we should move them to your apartment."

"No, they will be suspicious if they do, and I don't want anymore people to know about it."

"Akasha, an exception." He questioned as he grinned and winked.

"That is really none of your business, Mohan." I scolded, unable to fight the smirk that crept onto my face.

Ward walked over, "Prince Uda is visiting your guests."

I figured he had something to do with my father's orders. This just solidified it. I headed towards their room and knocked on the door; Gia opened the door, looking annoyed. "Are you here to get your pushy brother?" she asked, opening the door wider to let me in.

I entered, and Gia walked towards the couch. Keeping an eye on Prince Uda.

"Prince Uda, why are you here?" I asked him as he sat next to Akasha, putting his arm around her shoulders. She looked uncomfortable as she tried to move, he placed his hand on her leg. It pissed me off that he would dare touch her, and ignore me when I was taking to him.

"It's only fair you give me a shot after you have been with my brother." He told her, as her eyes flickered grey.

"Excuse me?" she retorted as Ari fake laughed and got up, moving towards him.

"Take your hands off of her." She warned, her eyes turning orange."

"Your done for now, princeling." Gia warned.

"What? I thought you had a thing for princes." He smiled, and I wanted to punch it off his face.

"Not just any prince, and I am not a harlot." She declared, removing his hand from her lap and moving away from him.

"But I am a prince." He defended, getting angry as his men went to grab her.

Gia stood in front of her, blocking the men, "You touch her, and we will have a problem, besides she doesn't like lazy men who expect things handed to them." She sneered at the men and my brother.

He stood up and yelled, "if I want it, then I get it or have you not figured our kingdom out yet!" as he reached for Akasha, she slapped his hand.

I moved to help her, but Mohan held me back as Akasha's eyes turned white and the space surrounding her shimmered. "It doesn't matter. An ass with a crown is still an ass. You have no right to touch me. You are not my prince; this is not my Kingdom."

His face paled in fear as he quickly left the room, his guards on his heels. "The King will hear about this." He declared as he left the room. I looked at Akasha, she looked like she was back to normal.

Mohan left, following my brother and his guards from the room. I walked over to the couch and sat down in an empty chair that was beside it.

"Did you have to scare him?" Gia asked, sitting down in the now vacant spot.

"Did you have to insult him?" Akasha retorted before they both laughed.

Akasha added, "How else was he going to leave?" She defended as her eyes landed on me, her face turned red. "Sorry to cause trouble."

I shrugged, "My half brother is an entitled brat. It will do him some good to be put in his place." I chuckled, knowing I would hear about this later. This would only anger my father more. "I'm doubling your guards." I announced to them.

Akasha went to object, and I shook my head, "I believe my father is up to something and I know you can protect yourselves, but this also gives you a witness, in case something happens." She contemplated what I had to say, "Very well, what do you think he is planning?"

"I believe he is trying to sabotage the fight tomorrow, but I can't really say for sure."

"Why would he sabotage it, doesn't he want our help?"

"My father is blinded by greed, he thinks he can switch sides and help the Goblins and get a larger kingdom, yet he fails to see how the Drow are working with the Goblins and under the goblins orders they have been wiping out Elf villages." "So, you need him to see the truth?"

"Yes. Only I can't make him see the truth if he is jeopardizing the outcome of the fight because he doesn't want to be wrong.'

"Did he order the release of Colonel Delano then or was it really goblins that attacked?" Ari snapped. Her flames, reacting to her anger as her palms lit up.

"I don't know, he could have been behind it or my half brother."

The flames shot from Ari's hands and lit the couch on fire. Sunama quickly doused it with water as Ari left the room, swearing about unreliable alliances and saying that they should've gone with her plan in the first place. "What was her plan?" I asked Akasha.

"She wanted to get to the Nymphs' aid first so we could arrange spies and get an idea of who was on which side, I pushed to come here because it was closer, and time was running out. The goblins would have caught up to us before we reached the nymphs. Because of that, we outvoted her."

"That is a smart move. You should've split into two groups and gone to both." I told her that way they would have contacted both Allies instead of just one.

"We just lost our village and our parents. There was no way we were splitting up." She stated coolly. "Although you do make a good point, time is running out and we will probably have to split up to reach all our allies in time. If they open the gate to the human realm, things will get a lot worse."

"No one is going anywhere right now. We have to deal with the battle tomorrow and apparently the King. You might want to think about taking over soon to get him to retire." Gia supplied.

"I am not the successor. My half brother is." I shared.

"That isn't how it works, the eldest takes the throne whether the King likes it or not."

"He's been trying to get Tyr out of the way for a while now. That is why he has a separate group of guards and men; the King's army can't be trusted." Ezryn shared.

"Just add another obstacle to deal with why don't ya." Gia fumed, throwing her hands up in the air and walking away.

"Is she okay?" I asked Akasha.

"Yeah, she doesn't like when plans change. She will adjust."

"No! I won't!" she yelled from the other room as Akasha laughed at her.

Huricana and Sunama headed to their room, "Night love birds." Huricana teased as she closed her door.

"We will figure it all out, but it's getting late and with tomorrow..." she paused. I nodded, stood up and headed towards her room.

"What are you doing?" She asked as she followed me.

"I am not leaving you and I doubt you will leave your sisters," when she nodded, I continued, "I figured you might want to finish what we started."

Instead of answering, her face reddened, and she whispered, "No, my sisters are here." I laughed and grabbed her hand, leading her to her bedroom.
