"Shut your mouth!" Renee bellowed. Her face flushed with anger as she watched Niamh and Castiel argue. Who did she think she was, talking like that?
Niamh looked at Renee, mimicking the biting way she had spoken to her in the past. "I must've been cursed to have ended up with a family. like yours!" Renee was so enraged she felt like she was going to pass out. Niamh had already driven her to the hospital twice, and now....
Her hand trembled as she pointed at Niamh, her voice shaking with. anger as she lashed out at Castiel, "Look! This is the woman you married! Are you seriously going to stand there and let her drive your mother to her grave?" The situation spiraled out of control in an instant. Castiel's head was pounding. He had always known Niamh and Renee's relationship was strained, but they had never let it show in front of him.
What on earth was going on right now?
"Madam Jamison, you mustn't get so worked up." Naomi stepped forward gracefully and supported Renee, who was shaking with anger.
She was tall and carried herself with elegance. Even as she tried to calm Renee down, her demeanor was gentle and poised, the epitome of the ideal daughter-in-law.
With a sarcastic look in her eye, Niamh glanced at her, then at Castiel. Then, she turned on her heel and walked toward the door. Before she could get far, Castiel rushed over and grabbed her arm. "Go upstairs!" "What are you doing keeping her here? Get her out of here, right now!"
"That's enough!" Castiel snapped, his eyes blazing as he turned to

face Renee. His grip on Niamh's wrist tightened, showing no intention of letting her go.
He reached into his pocket for his phone but couldn't find it. Then, he recalled he had destroyed it back at the auction. He dragged Niamh. along as he picked up the landline to make a call.
The call connected almost immediately. "Mr. Jamison."
"Come over here and take my mother home!"
"Castiel... I can't believe you're actually asking me to leave! What kind of spell has this woman cast on you?"
Renee was aware that Castiel had always been protective of Niamh. However, she never thought he would continue to protect her after everything she'd done..
Renee thought her son would tear into Niamh. In a way, he already had, just not in the way she'd expected.
Lucian arrived in no time, and as soon as he spotted Naomi, he understood what was going on.
In the end, Renee was escorted out in a fit of anger. She had planned to bring Naomi and Castiel together that night, but she never expected Niamh-who was supposed to have moved out-to be there. Once she was gone, peace returned to the villa..
"I want all of you gone!" Castiel gathered all the household staff in the villa and dismissed them.
The household staff looked at each other in astonishment, but they knew exactly why they were being fired. Renee had brought a woman. to the villa, knowing full well that Niamh had moved out and hadn't been back in days. Niamh didn't make a sound and let Castiel do as he pleased. Ultimately, everyone left, and the two of them were left in the villa

alone.
Castiel sat on the couch and lit a cigarette before explaining, "I had no idea she had people on her payroll here. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again."
Niamh walked over, pulled a cigarette from his pack, and tried to light it like he did. Then, she took a deep drag and immediately started coughing. The smoke was too much for her, making her throat burn.
He looked at her, a strange look in his eyes.
"What is it?" she asked, smiling.
"Put that down!" he demanded.
