Chapter 124
Chapter 124
Sienna blinked, confused. Why is he asking such a random question all of a sudden? she wondered.
“I’m asking you,” Josiah urged, glancing at the side of the road. The silver–gray Pagani had slowly come to a stop, and Cedric was about to get out of the car.
“Oh, well…” If she had to choose between the two, Siemma didn’t think much before replying, “Dancing”
I see Josiah nodded, processing her answer. He didn’t say more but internally he thought, Got it. As Cedric opened the car door, Josiah bent down to get in.
The car drove off, and Cedric walked over.
“Hi. Sienna,” he greeted.
Sienna stared at the elegant rear of the Bentley, still puzzled. Why did Josiah seein so strange just now?
On the other side, Zach was looking into Brenda and had made some progress.
“Hi. Mr. Flyim.” Zach said, “Hey, Brenda really does have a weakness.”
“Oh!” Josiah’s lips curled into a satisfied smile as he remembered Sienna’s answer. She prefered dancing.
“Tell me more,” Josiah said.
“Here’s what I found… Zach began.
Brenda and Thomas’s mother had been close childhood friends, but her husband’s family didn’t have the same kind of luck as the Zimmerman family,
The Zimmerman family had always been well–established in the Jeiacrity conglomerate, but Brenda’s in–laws had started to show signs of decline in recent years.
Brenda’s family had an academic background, but they couldn’t offer much support to her husband’s business. Over the past couple of years, the situation had grown more difficult.
This, Josiah thought, was where he could intervene.
When Brenda learned that her husband’s company was no longer in crisis, she was both happy and surprised. It had been a long struggle for him, she wondered how things had turned around so suddenly.
“It’s Mr. Flynn,” her husband said, still excited. “The Flynn family, what kind of people are they? Just a little help from them, and that’s enough to turn everything around for us.
‘Mr. Flynn? The Flynn family? she wondered. When Brenda heard this, she grew thoughtful. Why would Mr. Flynn help us all of a sudden?”
She couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t quite right
The next day, Brenda arrived at the dance studio, and at the entrance, there was Josiah waiting for her.
“Hi, Ms. Scott,” Josiah greeted her with a warm smile, polite and courteous. “Sorry to drop by without an appointment. I hope I’m not disturbing you
Brenda furrowed her brows. “Mr. Flynn, if you have something to say, just say it. What’s this about?”
Josiah didn’t waste time with pleasantries and got straight to the point.
Chapter 124
“Tin here to apologize on behalf of Sienna. She’s young and doet fully understand things. She broke one of the dance studio’s rules, but would you consider forgiving her this time and giving her another chance? he said.
Brenda’s heart skipped a beat. So this is why Mr. Flynn reached but to my husband, she wondered.
She wondered if she agreed or not. Her husband had already received help from the Flynn family.
If she didn’t agree now, she couldn’t convince her Inishand to rese the help. She could already imagine the scene. Her husband would never accept it, and it could even strain their relationship.
She had to admit that money really could solve almost anything Even someone as proud as Brenda had no choice but to lower her head.
Looking at Josiah helplessly, she said, “Mr. Flynn, if you’re asking me like this, how can I refuse?”
“Huh?” Josiah’s smile didn’t reach his eyes. He was polite, but their was an unmistakable coldness to his demeanor. “What I want is for you to truly accept Sienna.
“She’ll be dancing under your care from now on. You’ll need to look out for her. If Brenda acted out of spite or didn’t follow through, it would hurt Sienna..
Brenda took a deep breath and made up her mind.
“Mr. Flynn, don’t worry. If I agree, I won’t hold any grudges, and won’t make things difficult for Sienna. She wasn’t the kind of person to hold petty biases.
Do you believe it?” she asked.
“Yes,” Josiah replied without hesitation. Whether he truly believed it or not, he had to maintain the right posture for Sienna’s
sake.
“Ms. Scott, I trust your character. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t have entrusted Sienna to you.” he said.
After a moment, he added, “By the way, there’s one more thing I need to ask of you, Ms. Scott.”
“What is it?” she asked.
Josiah spoke earnestly, “Sienna doesn’t know about this, and I hope you can keep it a secret. I don’t want it affecting her mood.
This complicated matter was something Sienna didn’t need to be burdened with. She loved dancing, so all she needed to do
distractions. was focus on it without any
Brenda was slightly surprised. Josiah, doing so much for Sienna, yet he chose to keep things hidden. ‘Is he not planning on taking credit for it?‘ she wondered.
Sometimes, men’s thoughts were hard to figure out. But, since this wasn’t her business, Brenda just nodded and agreed, “Alright, Mr. Flynn. I understand. Thank you.”
“No need,” Josiah said, his tone sincere. I should be the one thanking you. I’m leaving Sienna in your hands.”
“I
As Brenda’s call came through, Sienna was at the film studio, shooting the last scene for her double role in the film. After tonight, she would be out of work.
Charles was waiting for her confirmation so they could sign the contract for her next project, which would mark her official debut. Once she signed, she could move forward with her career.
But Sienna was struggling to make a decision. Entering the entertainment industry was never her original plan. ‘Am I really cut out for this? Could I succeed?‘ she wondered.

Then she received Bremla’s call.
“Ms. Scott? Sienna felt a mix of excitement and confusion. Why is Ms. Scott calling me? she thought.
“Yes. Brenda’s voice was direct. Tm at the film studio. Do you have time? Let’s meet and talk.”
Sienna was taken aback. “I have time. Where are you?”
“I’m at a coffee shop nearby,” she said.
“Okay. I’ll be there soon. Sienna nodded.
After hanging up. Sienna hurried to the coffee shop. She still had time before her next scene started.
When she arrived and saw Brenda, she was still in her costume.
Brenda raised an eyebrow and smiled. “Did you land a new role-
“No.” Sienna quickly shook her head. “It’s still the same one, the one I signed the contract for. She still had to finish filming. after all.
“Take a seat. Brenda didn’t say much more, simply pointing to the chair across from her.
“Alright, Ms. Scott.” Sienna sat down, sitting up straight like a schoolgirl.
“Go ahead,” Sienna said.
Brenda couldn’t help but laugh. “I fired you for taking another role, and now you’re still going ahead with it?”
“Ms. Scott?” Sienna froze, her heart racing.
She forced herself to explain. “The assistant director on this project, he’s a good person. He helped me a lot when I was in trouble. This was all before I joined the dance studio. I broke the rules, but it wasn’t intentional…”
“Alright, alright. Seeing how flustered she was, Brenda waved her hand dismissively. “How much longer do you have to
shoot?
‘Why is Ms. Scott asking about this?‘ she wondered. Sienna was puzzled but answered honestly. “Tonight is the last scene.” Brenda nodded thoughtfully, then asked, “After this, do you plan to keep acting?”
Sienna hesitated. “I’m still thinking about it.”
“Stop thinking about it.” Brenda tossed the words out casually. “After your last scene, come back and dance. The lead dancer of the Serene Joys’D group is waiting for you”
