Dominic's behavior completely rattled Bella She quickly grabbed his hand. "Alright, alright, let's go! Why would you need the ER? I give up, okay?"

Dominic, dressed in a sharp ash gray suit, looked refined and elegant. His striking appearance attracted attention wherever he went, and walking next t him meant being the subject of countless stares. Bella had no idea how she managed to walk out of the hospital hand-in-hand with him.

She felt completely numb. She never expected him to pull something like this today. It almost gave her a cardiac arrest.

Dominic pretended not to hear her. "Really? If you hadn't driven me crazy, I wouldn't have had a reason to act that way. Anyway, it's too cold tonight, won't be able to sleep, so 1 suggest we sleep together."

Bella's heart skipped a beat. "There's heating in the house, so it's not cold at all. Besides, I'm staying up late tonight to binge-watch a show." Dominic didn't let it go. "Then, I'll come to your room and watch it with you. I'm curious to see what kind of show could be so captivating." Thinking about the half-knitted scarf hidden under her blankets, Bella quickly reconsidered her options. "Fine, I won't watch the show, okay?" Though she wouldn't admit it out loud, she knew it was for him from the moment she started knitting the scarf. She wasn't sure how it would turn out yet, but if he saw it before it was finished, she'd never hear the end of it. He'd tease her relentlessly.

When they returned to Miller Manor, Dominic mentioned during dinner that he'd have someone else take Pudding for a walk.

With her short fur, Pudding couldn't handle the cold weather well, so Sylvia dressed Pudding in a cute little coat and even wrapped a scarf around her

Dominic finished eating first. He stood up and said, "I'll wait for you in my room. I'm going to take a shower first. Come up when you're done."

Bella suddenly found it hard to swallow her food. It wasn't her fault for overthinking. His intentions were painfully obvious.
