Bella looked up and met Felix's warm gaze. "Felix? What are you doing here?"
Seeing him in a white coat with a hospital badge on his chest only added to her confusion. "Did you start working here? I thought you were managing your family's company?" Felix smiled, his expression gentle. "I had a long talk with my parents. They've agreed to let me take two years to do what I really want.

something or someone they truly care about, or they'll end up with regrets. I'm working in the ER now, so I guess we're colleagues. I look forward to working with you!
Bella suddenly remembered how she had deleted his contact information not long ago. He must've noticed. An awkward feeling crept in. "About your contact info

tension, "It's fine. I'm sure you had your reasons for deleting my number. That's your choice, and I respect it. No
He was always like this-making people feel warm and at ease
Bella's embarrassment shifted into guilt. "It's not like that. You probably changed your number after coming back, right? Give me your new one. Now that we're colleagues, we'll need to stay in touch."
Felix recited his new number, and after they exch

Back in her office, Bella thought about Dominic's possessiveness and sensitivity. She quickly changed Felix's contact name to "Colleague" Dominie wasn't the type to listen to explanations. If he were even remotely reasonable, she wouldn't have to tiptoe around like this. lan, who acted as Dominic's "eyes" at the hospital, was always around, so hella made sure to keep her distance from Felix whenever lan was nearby
She didn't want Dominic to get the wrong idea and blow things out of proportion. So, whenever she bumped into Felix at work, she kept it to just a simple greeting- Felix wasn't used to eating takeout, so at lunch, he invited Bella to a nearby restaurant. It was the first time he had asked her out tot a meal since coming back, and she felt it would be rude to decline. -
Once they were seated, Felix politely handed her the menu first. Bella, a bit distracted, picked a random dish and handed it back to him. "How's Yvonne? Has she come back yet?"
Felix shook his head. "I came back to focus on my own life. My parents arranged a school for her abroad. Living alone has its perks. It's easy, but also kind of dull. I'm not used to her not being around,"
Bella smiled. "You and Yvonne have one of the closest sibling relationships I've ever seen. I'm a little jealous. If only I had a brother like you."
Felix's expression remained calm as he replied, "Dominic treats you pretty well, though."
Bella laughed at herself. "He'd definitely not be my brother."
Felix smoothly added, "No, he's not You two are dating now."
It wasn't a secret anymore, and just thinking about it gave Bella
headache.
Beling with Dominic had been her dream for so many years, but now that her wish had come true, something still felt off. Was it because Dominic didn't love her? Being together like this seemed to lack any real meaning. Suddenly, Dominic called Bella glanced at Felix and gave him an apologetic smile. "I need to take this."
Felix gestured for her to go ahead, his quiet demeanor showcasing his impeccable manners.
The restaurant was fairly quiet, and their table was tucked in one of the more peaceful comers. Bella didn't feel the need to step outside into the freezing wind to take the call, so she answered it right there. Dominte's deep, magnetic voice came through the line. "Are you having lunch?"
