DECEPTION : (A student/teacher romance)

Chapter DECEPTION : Rocco

The moment the apartment door closes, I slam my forehead against the bathroom door. Acting so nonchalant to her leaving me was almost my undoing. I wanted nothing more than to kidnap her, to keep her as my little red, but I’ve too much at stake and don’t want her being caught in the crossfire.

Until my plan slips into place, I shall continue watching her from afar, and when the perfect time arises, I’ll pounce, taking what’s mine. All of it.

My phone rings on the bathroom counter, and I swipe at it when I see Silas’s name on the screen. “Talk to me.”

“Your package is collected.”

My shoulders ease, knowing he’s talking about Hallie.

“And?”

“And just like you said, she asked to go to a pharmacy.”

Hurt slices through me, and I press my hand over my heart at the pain her actions cause. To know she’s avoiding getting pregnant would probably be one man’s relief, but for me, it’s a nightmare.

“And you’re taking her to …?”

“The store on Oak Tree, just as you requested.”

I nod, overcome with emotion, then realize he won’t see it. “Good. Mr. Stores is a friend of mine; he’ll do what’s necessary.”

He will give her hormone enhancers instead of the Plan B, then encourage her to take birth control with her, while really offering her more enhancers.

“Anything else?”

“No. Just make sure she goes about her day as normal, and let me know if anything changes.”

“Will do, Boss.” He ends the call, and I draw my eyes up to the mirror. The scratch marks she left behind on my shoulders bring a grin to my face.

“Don’t worry, Little Red. I’ll take care of you, both of you.” I smile, proud of the plan I’ve put in place.

Now I only have to wait and see it through.
