Chapter 48 d
Tasya chuckled softly. "After we're married, I want to hear all your stories. Whatever happens." "The same goes for you, Mama Raptor."
"Yeah, Daddy."
"So it seems like this duo of scaredy-cats is going to meet at the wedding tomorrow, right?"
"Do you want me to come or not?"
"Come on, I want you to come. What I'm going to say during the wedding vows is your name, you know."
"I should be the one worried you won't come."
Nathan laughed much more freely than before. "Love you, Future Wife who will be my wife in less than twelve hours."
"Good night, Daddy Raptor. I'm going to sleep now, I'm really tired."
"You said you couldn't sleep earlier. Should I make you jealous again?"
"Nathan!" Tasya's warning was a bit stern.
"Reply to my love first."
There was a small sigh, but after that, Nathan was thrown off balance by Tasya's words.
"Love you, Future Husband. I hope that my biggest hopes in life with you come true one by one. Be faithful, okay? I'm giving you my world, you know. I just ask for faithfulness. The rest we can work on together."

Tasya took a slow breath. She had done this countless times before. Don't even ask about her heart's performance today; it's been pounding irregularly. If it weren't for Seira and Koni's warnings, Tasya might have been crying since earlier. The emotional moment had truly overwhelmed her.
It wasn't because her mother wasn't there; Tasya had already prepared herself for this.
Nor was it because her father couldn't be with her.
It was Ronan's words, her younger brother who acted as her guardian for the wedding, just moments before the vows were spoken and witnessed by many pairs of eyes in the venue.
"As the younger brother of Tasya Rosmerry, I give permission for Mr. Nathan to marry my sister. I am acting as her guardian in this wedding ceremony to make it valid in the eyes of religion and the law. But may I speak before that?" The atmosphere suddenly fell silent.
Tasya herself furrowed her brow in confusion, wondering why Ronan was doing this. But she couldn't speak out. Until the marriage contract was completed, she couldn't leave her room. Though she thought about it, she usually met Nathan without needing anyone's permission, right? Accompanying Nathan wherever he went was part of the job.
Oh, wait, there was coercion involved too, where Nathan would casually say, "If you're not there, who will help me with my work? Handle a few schedules? Plus, if there's a sudden invitation where I need a partner?"
That's Nathan for you. Annoying from the start and capable of raising Tasya's emotions by a few notches.
"My sister is the only girl in our family. I know she bears a heavy burden on her shoulders. It's not just about providing for the family. Thank God, in recent years, I've become independent. I can buy my own snacks. I can give Tasya some money to pay the electricity bill at home, although not much. I can give my youngest sibling some pocket money so they won't keep asking Tasya." Ronan looked at the screen, knowing it was connected to the room where his sister was.
Earlier that morning, Ronan cried. Not because he was sad that Tasya was getting married, but because his sister had finally found her happiness. It was about time that she met her goals. Tasya couldn't possibly have no desire for her own life. "What I want as a younger brother is my sister's happiness. I'm not asking; I'm begging the man who will soon enter our family's life as a brother-in-law. My sister's husband. I've learned to respect him and treat him as a brother and consider him my sister's husband. I beg you, love and cherish my sister with all your heart. Don't make her sad, especially to the point of tears."
Tasya's tears fell at that point. She felt Seira gently pat her shoulder from her side and whisper, "You're lucky, Tasya, to have a brother who loves you so much."
"Yeah, Mrs. Seira," Tasya sniffled.
"I hope so too. I sincerely pray that your marriage will be eternally happy. Even when there are bumps along the way, may you overcome them together, not blaming each other. Accept each other and communicate, Tasya. Whatever you feel, you should talk about it. Don't just keep it to yourself."
Tasya held Seira's hand tightly. It was a form of emotional support for her that suddenly felt sentimental. Tasya couldn't help but wonder what would've happened if Seira hadn't been there to accompany her. Well, it wasn't just about being there. Tasya felt that Seira's touch had a magical way of making her feel different.
That's why she had specifically asked for Seira's help, which was agreed upon without much debate from the woman who, despite her age, still looked beautiful next to Tasya.
"Your brother is really brave to take on this responsibility. I salute him," Seira continued. "I'm sure your new family will be filled with happiness. It'll also be lively because of Naina."
Speaking of the little girl who had been causing trouble and getting into everything, Tasya automatically looked around. "Where's Naina?"
"She's in the bathroom," Koni quickly replied.
Tasya let out a sigh of relief, visible in the corners of her mouth. Since she had been in the room designated for dressing and makeup, Naina hadn't left her side. She kept asking questions until Tasya's head was spinning. And it wasn't just Tasya; Seira was also affected. Oh, especially Olivia. That's why the pregnant woman chose to stay away. She said it was better to tend to the food stand than to be in the same room as Naina.
"If only I could give Naina a good scolding, I would've done it a long time ago. Her mouth can be so annoying when she talks," Olivia complained, clearly irritated.
"Olivia, you can't dislike Naina like that. If her child is anything like me, then you'll know how it feels," Naina retorted, glaring at Olivia, who was giving her an angry look.
"Ugh! This little kid is so annoying!"
"Alright, alright," Seira sighed deeply. "Don't argue so much. It's not good."
They continued to tease each other. Actually, Olivia and Naina couldn't be put in the same room. Tasya understood that, but sometimes Naina would ask Tasya to accompany her to visit Olivia. She would say, "I miss petting Olivia's belly." Although they would argue endlessly when they met. But all of Naina's antics made Tasya less nervous. Imagine if this room were quiet, with only the sound of the air conditioner. Where everyone was staring at the screen displaying the wedding ceremony. It took place in the main ballroom of this five-star hotel, which had been fully booked by Ronan for their wedding.
"Oh... men can be so sweet when they're about to get married, huh?" Koni said with a laugh. "Let's hope it's not just words."
Tasya was clearly taken aback by that statement. "What did Nathan say, Koni?"
"Didn't you hear it for sure?" Koni guessed with a mischievous twinkle in her eye. "Oh, what a shame. Because if you had heard it, you might fall even more in love with Nathan. But just love Nathan as much as you want. Let Nathan be head over heels in love with you."
Tasya's brow furrowed even more.
"Do you think Seira should teach you how to make Nathan fall even more in love and kneel before you?"
