85 Shocked Rosalyn POV
It's been three days since Samantha and Marco realized they were mates. Mom and Charlie are supposed to return today with Jayden and Addie. I know Sam is really torn about her decision to go to Marco's pack or stay here for six months. I know she can't yet feel the pull of the bond, but I can see how much she already feels for Marco when she looks at him. He had planned to return to the Golden Leaf with Carter and Bridgette but instead asked if he could remain until our parents returned.
Beck and I were more than happy for him to spend time with Samantha here. I know how much we will all miss her if she decides to go with her mate, but none of us will stand in her way. Marco was given a guest room on the Beta floor, not because we don't trust him with Samantha, but because Beck and I both know how hard it can be close to our mate without being together. Especially for his wolf.
I stretch enjoying the feeling of being next to the man who owns my heart. I turn my head and smile at my handsome mate who is still lightly snoring. He has been working so hard since he returned to show the pack that he is worthy of being their Alpha. Most of them have completely accepted him. There are still a few who aren't happy he has returned, but no one is blatantly being disrespectful.
A meeting was held with the pack about Fredrick's actions and punishments. Most were shocked to find out that he was a traitor to the pack. I guess he hid who he was well except from a handful of warriors who confirmed he was always speaking about becoming the pack Beta. Brent still hasn't completely forgiven Beck, but they have talked about everything that happened. He was made the head warrior based on his skills. I'm hopeful that just like Jayden he will find away to forgive Beck.
I was shocked when Beck told me about that pr*ck Waller being his mate. I'll never understand why so many wolves go against the goddess. I hope for Brent's sake that he finds
his second chance. I slide out of bed and rush into the bathroom needing desperately to
relieve my bladder. I'm just about to head to the shower when a wave of nausea ripples
through me.
I make it to the toilet just in time to gag. I haven't eaten, so there isn't anything to really come
into the steaming shower I freeze. With everything that's been happening, I haven't really
thought about my period. When was the last time I had it? Holy sh*t, I haven't had my period since we left the Black Rose pack.

I look down at my body and notice I slight bump to my belly that I hadn't noticed before. The thought of our pup growing in my belly steals my breath. I brace myself against the shower wall to get my breathing under control. Am I really having a pup? "Zora," I whisper as fresh tears streak down my cheeks. "Yes, my Rose. I won't ruin the goddess's surprise, but what's happening is real. Lily is going to be a big sister" she says. I place my hands on my small bump.
I finish my shower quickly, excited to tell Beck. I quickly dry off and throw on a light blue. sundress. When I step back into the bedroom, Beck is still fast asleep. I smile walking over to him and run my hands through his soft hair. He stirs before his eyes finally open. He gives me a soft smile and I lean down to press a soft kiss on his lips.
"Good morning beautiful. You're up early. Is everything alright" he asks me. "Everything is perfect. I have something important to tell you.""Despite my words concern flashes in his eyes. He scoots up so he's sitting up in bed. I climb on the bed and straddle him. He places his hands on my hips. "Beck, I'm pregnant." His body stiffens and his expression looks like I shot him. Maybe he isn't happy like I thought he would be.
I go to get off his lap, but his hands tighten on my hips. "Say it again" he says, and I can see tears forming in the corner of his eyes. "I'm pregnant Beck." He closes his eyes tightly and takes a few deep breaths. When his eyes open, I can see Gideon is at the surface. Without a word, his hands move up my body until they are both resting on my belly. Tears begin to stream down his cheeks and I reach out to wipe them away.
"Beck, please say something." "Oh, my goddess, we are going to have a pup. When did
you find out? Are you feeling alright? What did the pack doctor say" he says without taking a breath. "You scared the sh*t out of me Beck. I thought you weren't happy when you didn't say anything." "That's the farthest thing from what I was feeling. I had a moment of fear before I was consumed by nothing but happiness," he says.
"What were you afraid of my love?""The past repeating itself, but I will never let that happen. I will protect you and our pups with everything in me" he says. "We will always protect each other Beck. Now to answer your question I felt sick earlier and when I thought about the last
time I had my period I realized it's been a while."
He's eyes get big. "How long has it been? Have you shifted?" "Beck, you need to calm down. Zora confirmed I'm pregnant, so even if I shifted, the pup is safe in my belly. I just realized it this morning, so I haven't seen the pack doctor yet."He immediately pulls me down for a searing kiss before he hops off the bed with me in his arms. He starts moving toward the door and I can't help but laugh.

before we head to the hospital." He steps falter as he looks at me confused. "Beck, you need to put me down and get dressed. I've linked the pack doctor to expect us."My big bad Alpha blushes before he finally sets me on my feet. He presses a quick kiss on my forehead before he rushes to get dressed.
He is dressed in record time. He immediately scoops me back up once he is completely
dressed. "Beck, I can walk." "No, my legs are longer. We will get there quicker" he says, making me laugh. "Are you calling me short, love?"""Shorter than me" he says, and I slap his chest playfully. When we reach the pack hospital, one of the nurses greets us. "Is everything alright Alpha, Luna" she asks.
"The Luna needs to be checked for pregnancy'he blurts out. The older nurse smiles and leads
us down a long hallway to a large exam room. "I'll take some blood Luna, and let the doctor
know that you've arrived," the nurse says. As she moves toward me with the needle, Beck
growls. I look at him confused. "Sorry, Gideon is a little on edge thinking of you in any pain," Beck says. "Gideon, the nurse will not hurt me."Beck finally nods, and the nurse quickly gathers my blood. I'm not sure how much time actually passes before the door opens, and the pack doctor steps
inside with a huge smile on his face. "Congratulations Luna and Alpha, you are pregnant. I'm
going to grab the ultrasound machine so we can see the pup and determine how far along you are," he says. Seeing the smile on Beck's face makes me smile. I can't believe we are going to have another pup. Beck moves closer and puts his face close to my belly. "Hello my sweet pup. I'm your daddy. I
can't wait to meet you," he says. I run my hand through his hair fighting back the urge to cry as I watch my mate talk to our pup. The door opening interrupts the sweet moment. After I do what the doctor says and expose my belly, he squirts cold gel around my belly button.
When he pushes the wand against my belly, the sound of thumping fills the room. He must see my panic because he offers me a reassuring smile. "That is the sound of your pup's heartbeat. It sounds perfect." He starts to move the wand around my belly. I notice his smile from earlier is gone, and his brow is furrowed. My heart starts to beat hard against my chest.

Beck must feel my emotions through our bond because he looks at me. "I know you are doing your job but tell us what the hell has that look on your face. You are upsetting my Luna," Beck says. I glare at him for being so harsh with the doctor. "My apologies, Luna. There is nothing wrong with your pups" he says. His words wash over me. Did he just say pups?"

Holy sh*t, I didn't know I was even pregnant until today and I only have three months left before the pups are born. I feel like I can't breathe. I'm going to have newborn pups in three months. "Rosalyn, look at me," Beck says. I focus on the sound of his voice. "I know this is a
lot, but everything is going to be amazing. We will have everything ready by the time we have the pups. Besides, we have an amazing family to help us," he says.
My breathing starts to slow down and Beck presses his forehead to mine. "I love you Rosalyn.
I can't thank you enough for making me a father again." "I love you Beck. I love that we are going to have two more pups. I love that Lily is going to be an amazing big sister." Now that the initial shock of how far along I am has worn off, I can't wipe the smile off my face.
"Do you want to know what the pups will be Beck?" "I am fine either way. It's completely up to you,
beautiful” he says. "I think I want it to be a surprise. We can do everything in neutral
colors. I want Lily involved in everything, Beck. I never want her to feel like she isn't as important as the twins. She is my first pup." He smiles and presses a soft kiss to my lips. "Lily knows how much you love her, Rosalyn. No amount of pups will change that."
