Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 958

Finally, when they reached the mall, Anya dashed out eagerly.

As soon as she was gone, Leo stepped out too, leaning casually against the car door.

"Why not wait inside the car?" Paige asked curiously.

"I'd rather not be alone with another woman in a confined space," Leo explained. "My girlfriend would get jealous."

Anya returned quickly, bounding back to the car. Seeing Leo outside, she burped and playfully complained, "Chad, the medicine you got didn't work!"

Leo chuckled, giving her cheek a teasing pinch. "You've been out in the cold too much."

Once the pressing matter was dealt with, Leo resumed his search for Vincent.

The phone was still off, and Lee wasn't answering either.

Eventually, they arrived at a new club. "Let's try our luck here," Leo suggested. "It just opened."

Anya frowned and shot a skeptical look. "Chad!"

Leo turned to face her, noticing her pout. "What's up now? Not happy again?"

"How do you know this place just opened?" Anya asked, her eyes narrowing suspiciously.

In the time they'd been dating, Leo had picked up on how to read his girlfriend's moods. Sensing her jealousy, he quickly added, "We see each other every day, and I've never been here. Someone told me about it." "Hmm, I didn't hear about it. And you seem to know your way around these places pretty well without GPS," she huffed.

"I grew up in Havenbrook," Leo replied.

"So you've been here before!" Anya accused, her jealousy clouding reason.

Leo sighed, "I'll explain everything once we're home, okay?"

While the urgency of finding her dad loomed, the couple couldn't help but bicker playfully.

"Why not explain now?" Anya pressed, not letting it go.

Leo scratched his head. "It might involve a little secret between two people, you know, T-Rex and Sharp-Tongued Lady?"

Anya paused... Oh, it was about her aunt and her uncle again. "Alright, Chad, let's head in. I've never been to a place like this, and I'm curious." With her aunt and uncle involved, Anya felt at ease. Leo waved her off, "Stay in the car."

Preparing to go with Paige, Anya, who didn't like the idea of being left behind, jumped out and clung to him. "I want to come with you."

"It's a drinking spot inside, why join the crowd?"

Anya glanced at Paige, "What if a drunk guy sees how pretty I am and decides to take me away?"

Leo was at a loss for words...

Paige, anxious, snapped at Anya, "Are you paranoid or something? We're here to find someone, not for you to explore!"

Before Anya could defend herself,

Leo pulled her behind him

protectively. "We were just shopping when you begged us to find your dad, worried he might be in trouble. Now you're being like this? Fine, we'll stop looking. Go in alone if this place doesn't have him. Let's go home."

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Paige pleaded, grabbing Leo's arm, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I've been too anxious about not finding my dad. Please, I'm scared to go in there alone." Seeing this, Anya, feeling a twinge of jealousy, quickly separated them. "Hands off my boyfriend."

"I'm sorry," Paige said to Anya, crying. "I shouldn't have yelled at you. I've been spoiled and have a bad temper. I apologize."

Anya turned to Leo, unsure of her next move.

"Forgive her?" Leo asked.

Anya pouted, understanding Paige's desperation but also considering her own thoughts. After all, Paige was Chad's boss, and they'd come this far. It wouldn't hurt to help,

troubles later. Anya nodded.

Leo took Anya's hand and led her inside. "Once we're in, no eating, no drinking, and don't leave my side. Keep holding my hand."

Anya nodded obediently. It was her first time in a nightclub, and even the colorful, glowing stairs amazed her.

Paige followed closely behind.

As they ventured deeper inside, they saw people getting cozy in the shadows, unashamedly. Anya's eyes widened in shock at the boldness.

"Don't look," Leo warned.

Anya giggled, "I can't help it!"

Leo wrapped an arm around her shoulders, his hand blocking her view.

As they moved further, and things got more explicit, Leo covered Anya's eyes completely.

Paige watched Leo from behind. He was twirling a keychain with a pendant of his girlfriend's photo. With one arm around Anya, his coat draped over her, he exuded a protective aura.

On the way, Paige had witnessed the couple's dynamic and Leo's unwavering devotion-something she longed for but thought impossible to find.

Entering the main area, the pounding music and lively atmosphere took over. Dim lighting and rotating chandeliers cast colorful patterns. Leo's back alternated between yellow, red, blue, and purple lights.

A host approached, "How many of

you?" Seeing the two women, he

smirked at Leo, "Wow, bringing two ladies? Impressive." Looking at Anya, he added, "Since it's our grand opening, ladies get in free. Please, come inside."

Bars often gave special treatment to attractive women to draw in crowds. Anya was undoubtedly one of those receiving special attention.

Leo frowned, placing a hand on Anya's shoulder. "Back off, she's my girlfriend! The other one's a colleague."

Anya blinked in surprise. How did her status suddenly get a boost?

The staff quickly apologized, not wanting to offend any customers.

Inside, Anya looked around at the bustling crowd. "Chad, it's so lively, but spotting someone is tough."

Leo pointed a direction to Paige. "Check over there, we'll look this way."

Paige hesitated, "I'm scared."

Leo, tired of arguing, wrapped an arm around Anya, and they navigated through the throng together.
