The Billionaire’s Regret

Chapter 123 –

Wyatt had no idea whether Ivy had heard him or not because she had no reaction.

They were simply bounced back and forth, up and down, by the rope.lvy's body gradually adjusted to the motion, and the panic she felt dissipated. When she opened her eyes again to look at him, all she saw was anger and coldness! After climbing back up, Vince and the others rushed over to them, concerned, "Ivy, are you okay?""How are you doing? Are you dizzy?" Wyatt was stranded on the outskirts.

No one consoled Wyatt because everyone knew he did it on purpose.

After all, Ivy was the innocent party! Mirasol simply stood there and stared silently at those two people. She had no idea what had just happened. With a miserably pale face, she shook her head. For a brief moment, she was unable to speak and felt a little nauseous in the stomach. Her brows were knitted together.

"Can this possibly be over?"

Vince paused and looked to the side at the expressionless Wyatt, who appeared pale but emotionless.

This extreme sport must have been a piece of cake for Wyatt, who had received special military training.

Vince gently patted Ivy on the back. "Wait for a second. I just talked with the director about creating a new game." As he swept his gaze over Mirasol's face, his eyes flickered. "Let's just vote on who we think should bungee jump and call it a day! Fuck the truth game!" Mirasol's face blanched instantly. Brad nodded and said, "I think that's a good idea," just as she was about to say something. "It's far preferable to remaining anonymous. Mirasol gets my vote." Brad was so direct that she didn't have a chance to say no. Let's get right to it! "Great minds think alike!" Vince exclaimed. "Mirasol gets my vote as well!"

There were only six of them, and two votes had already been cast.

Mirasol looked anxiously at Flint, who had won the "Most Promising Newbie Award" with her and should have been on the same page.

Flint swept his gaze across Ivy's face without hesitation. "I also vote for Mirasol."

Mirasol's heart rate slowed slightly. Three votes out of two.

She was defeated! She was doomed no matter who Ivy or Wyatt chose! Nonetheless, Vince posed the question to Ivy.

"Ivy, who do you pick?"

Ivy didn't appear to be in good shape. She lowered her gaze a little. Her eyes were cold when she looked up again.

"Wyatt Reed gets my vote." Her response was unexpected.

Clearly, no one other than Mirasol would be voted out in this situation. Only Ivy dared to vote for Wyatt among the participants in order to express her displeasure.

Wyatt's brows twitched slightly, and his eyes darkened briefly. Shortly after, he gently raised his brows to look at her, surprisingly without any trace of guilt.

Vince didn't want to make things too awkward, so he asked Wyatt casually.

"Who do you want to vote for, Uncle Wyatt?"

If Wyatt had been wise enough, he would have followed Ivy's advice and voted himself out.

This might have appeased Ivy a little, but he didn't.

Wyatt lifted his chin, pointing to Mirasol under everyone's watchful gaze.

"Her." He didn't say anything else.

Mirasol's expression was solemn. She didn't expect Wyatt to bully her like the others, despite her best efforts to please him.

Instead, Mirasol's target, Ivy, was the only one who did not vote her out.

Mirasol wanted to cry and was irritated. She immediately reverted to her pitiful little drama queen persona. "I accept the outcome, but I've had a fear of heights since I was a child."

Wouldn't a group of big men like them make a weak girl like her jump, would they?

Vince burst out laughing. As he took a step forward and said in a low voice, the corners of his lips curled up recklessly. "Are you afraid of heights? So, why did you come to this show? I guess I'll have to check with your agent to see what's going on. You violated the contract's terms and did not comply with the program's regulations. I suppose you'll just have to pay any contractual penalties."

Mirasol looked up at Vince, stunned.

Vince didn't appear to be joking. He took a step back and let her out.

He was confident, however, that Mirasol would not break the contract. Her arrogant acting abilities could fool no one.

Everyone could see that Mirasol purposefully steered the show's direction in order to target Ivy specifically.

Mirasol bit her lower lip, knowing she couldn't back out now. She cast a glance at the cold Wyatt, whose gaze was fixed on something else. She walked to the side, looking back with lingering eyes as if she was waiting for someone to stop her. She could only look at Ivy and pin her hopes on her in the end. The rest of the group wouldn't target Ivy as long as she said the word, right?

On the other hand, Ivy appeared pale as she gripped the side railing. She had her eyes closed and one hand over her chest as if she didn't care if Mirasol was chosen to jump.

Mirasol pursed her lips hesitantly before jumping off.

That scream pierced the mountain's silence and lasted a long time.

When they saw this scene, the netizens erupted in applause.

(They should have had Mr. Reed kick her again! HAHAHA!)

(Mr. Reed is irritated that he is the fourth choice! Lol!)

(Didn't Mirasol mention liking outdoor sports in the first episode? Is she now afraid of heights? She is truly deceitful!)

(I'm devastated for my Ivy. Even though she told the truth, she was still dragged down! Mr. Reed must be furious at her response.)

(Did Mr. Reed regret the divorce? His gaze never strayed from my goddess!)

Wyatt noticed Ivy's complexion was unappealing and had someone pick her up while he walked in the back. He watched as her steps became shaky, and a glint of regret flashed through his eyes.

Ivy dodged to the side as he was about to grab her because she heard his footsteps approaching. As a result, he was unable to touch her.

Ivy's cold, reddish eyes stung him. "Stay the hell away from me." She had never spoken so harshly to him before and had always maintained a polite demeanor with him.

She must be particularly agitated this time.

Wyatt gave her a long, hard look. Regret crept up from the depths of his soul, but he couldn't apologize to her face because Ivy would mock him.

In any case, such an apology would be meaningless to her.

Wyatt pursed his lips and followed in her footsteps. "Are you upset? I was just a little irritated right now, which is why I wanted to jump down to calm down. I'm not going to let anything happen to you." This explanation was a little too broad.

Ivy sneered and abruptly came to a halt.

"Didn't you want me to jump down to cool off?"

'Wyatt Reed, this son of a bitch! How could he drag me along when he's enraged? He clearly did this on purpose!'

Wyatt raised his brows, which she couldn't see. He only wanted her to look at him for two seconds longer. He was enraged at not being chosen, but he was even more enraged at her ignorance. "Of course not."

'Hah! If I believe him, I'll be damned!'

Neither of them said anything about that kiss during the fall.

Ivy was adamantly opposed to discussing it. She clenched her teeth in rage. Her legs felt weak, and her head felt dizzy as she took two steps forward.

In front of her eyes, a white light flashed. She passed out.

Wyatt rushed forward right away to help her up. His brow furrowed in fear. He snatched her up and dashed outside.

Outside, the car was on standby.Demi, Ivy's assistant, and the driver were also waiting. Their faces paled in shock as they witnessed this scene.
