"You've got your answers. You can go now," Felix said.

But Xena was stubborn as ever. After all, she was the goddess of war. "I said I'd leave at dawn, and I will."
Felix could not take it anymore. How was he supposed to sleep with her there? He got up, threw on his clothes, and headed for the door. "You stay and rest then. I'm going to grab something to eat." Xena bolted upright. As Felix's silhouette disappeared beyond the door, she became furious. What was his deal? Did he find her repulsive or something?
She was Lady Summers, the first goddess of war in Dragonia, and the fantasy of men everywhere. They had shared a bed, and he just... walked out? Gosh! If word got out, no one would believe it.
Felix left Tabiner Bay and wandered the streets. He eventually found himself near the alley where Ted and Sasha had tried to set him up at that fondue restaurant.
"I wonder if they're still open."
Though he was not hungry, the memory of that fondue tempted him. It was already midnight, so he did not expect much from a hole-in-the-wall joint. But sometimes life could be full of surprises. Not only was it open, but the place was packed. "Ma'am, you're open pretty late tonight, huh?" Felix had to wait for a bit before he got to sit down. Across from him sat an old man and a younger guy. The old man had three empty bowls in front of him, while his companion had not touched a thing. The owner seemed to have recognized Felix as her face lit up with joy. She said, "It's our restaurant's anniversary. We're open until three in the morning - it's kind of a tradition."
"Cool. One fondue, please," Felix said.
Meanwhile, the old man set aside yet another empty bowl and said, "I'll have another one."
This old guy really had quite an appetite. Felix even caught a whiff of the extra spicy fondue, which was something that would make most youngsters sweat, let alone the old people.
The young man was a little exasperated as he asked, "Master, you're still eating?"
The old man glared at him. "Of course! I rarely get to visit Avesburgh these days. I've been craving this taste, so I'm going to eat my fill. Stop yapping, or go cool off outside if you can't handle it." Just as Felix finished eating, a woman who had just paid her bill suddenly collapsed with a

loud thud. It startled everyone.
"Quick, call 911!" the owner shouted as she reacted swiftly. But the old man who had been eating moved even faster. He rushed to the woman's side.
"No need to call. There's no time. I'm a doctor, just leave her to me," he said as he checked her pulse with his left hand. Meanwhile, his right hand had somehow already held a few silver needles.
Seeing the owner's hesitation, the young man boasted, "Don't worry. My master is a true master healer. He's way better than any doctors in the hospital. This woman's lucky he's here." The old man had already inserted one needle into the woman's head and was about to place a second when a voice rang out.
"Wait! If you place that second needle, this woman will surely die."
