The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

Chapter Billionaire With Husband 64

Chapter 64

Belle said, "This is Inferno we're talking about, ma'am. If the headquarters has sent an Asura over to help, it's clear that Inferno is much scarier than Nocturno. You..."

Xena held up a hand, her expression grim. "Don't say such pessimistic things! I didn't get to where I am today by pulling funny tricks and hiding from danger. We'll immediately start setting up our defenses when the Asura gets here. Inferno might show up at any moment." "Yes, ma'am!" Then, Belle thought of something. "Milady, we'll be using the villa at Tabiner Bay as our defense base, and Felix is the owner. What should we..."

A trace of disdain flitted past Xena's face. "All irrelevant people have to be cleared out when the Phoenix Legion is conducting its business. So what if it's Felix? Issue him a notice-that's good enough!"

Felix received another call from Sasha that evening. "Come to Club Neuf. I've arrived earlier because I have

something to do, so someone else will meet you at the entrance. I want you out of my sight once my dad calls later.

How ridiculous. She made it-sound like he was desperate to be with her.

He said, "Got it."

Sasha had already arrived at Club Neuf. She followed Ted into a spacious, lavishly decorated private room. Inside, a young man was surrounded by a dozen beautiful women. Judging from the pair of burly bodyguards outside the room, the young man wasn't a random Joe. "Mr. Barton."

Sure enough, Ted's tone was ingratiating when he greeted the man. It proved Sasha had guessed correctly.

Saul Barton looked up. He appraised Sasha before smiling. "Not bad. I suppose she does have a hint of naivety. Come sit with me."

Before Sasha could do anything, Ted pushed her over to Saul. At the same time, he whispered, "You'd better do whatever Mr. Barton wants of you and don't piss him off. If you please him, he'll deal with Felix with a snap of his fingers. You and your family will benefit from this, too!"

That sounded like a sweet deal. Sasha immediately perked up. She said, "Don't worry, Mr. Glover. I'll make sure Mr. Barton is satisfied."

Ted nodded and smiled ingratiatingly at Saul again. "Have fun, Mr. Barton. I'll be waiting outside."

He snapped his fingers, and all the women in the room followed him out. Sasha was the only one left to accompany Saul. She couldn't help feeling rather awkward at being left alone.

As the seconds ticked, Ted finally received a phone call. "Felix is here, Mr. Glover."

Ted's gaze turned cold. He straightened up where he stood outside the private room, looking forward to seeing the show he'd orchestrated play out.

Inside the private room, Sasha couldn't drink anymore. "Mr. Barton, I-I can't drink anymore."

Saul frowned. "Are you that bad at holding your liquor? You're not at the stage that I want you at yet! Did you know that the best time to fuck a woman is when she's tipsy but not completely drunk?" Sasha's head was already spinning. She couldn't drink anymore. "I honestly can't drink anymore, Mr. Barton."

Her body swayed, which gave Saul a sliver of the feeling he wanted. He picked up a glass of liquor and poured it down her shirt. "If you can't swallow it with your mouth, you'll have to make up for it with other parts of your body."

The iciness of the liquor woke Sasha up a little. She opened her eyes to find that Saul already had her pinned to the couch. "W-What are you doing?"

He rubbed his hands and leered at her. "What am I doing? You, of course! It's what every man should do! Remember to resist, okay? The more you resist, the more excited I get!"
