Chapter 5914
Why was he there?
Loona furrowed her brows when she saw Elgar. She was secretly disgusted.
Elgar squandered his life because his father was a leader. He had no desire to improve himself. He was nothing more than a spoiled brat. She got annoyed just by seeing people like that.
Elgar did not seem to mind Loona's aloofness. He noticed the jade scroll in her hands. "Loona, do you like the jade scroll? I'll buy it for you."
'Buy it for me?' Loona was stunned. Then, she chuckled and rejected his offer. "No need!"
She knew exactly what Elgar was thinking. How could she possibly give him the chance?
Uh...
Elgar felt awkward seeing Loona reject him, but he refused to give up. "Loona, we have known each other since we were children; it is nothing much buying the jade scroll for you; why do you refuse?" he said. Loona was annoyed. She shook her head. "No need!"
When the other customers saw that scene, they could not help but talk about it.
"How generous to spend a million dollars just to please a beautiful lady."
"Yes, it's a pity the lady is unappreciative."
Loona's expression changed when she heard what they said. She wished to lash out at Elgar.
Elgar furrowed his brows as well. "What are you all talking about? Don't you know who I am? F*ck off!" he said coldly.
The customers knew they should not offend Elgar by what he was wearing. When they noticed him becoming agitated, they stopped talking and left.
"Loona!"
Darryl's voice came from the entrance at that precise moment. "Are you inside?" he asked as he walked in slowly.
Loona smiled and quickly welcomed Darryl when she saw him. "You are back," she said softly. She was a completely different person than how she had previously treated Elgar. Hmm!
Darryl nodded.
Elgar furrowed his brows and looked at Darryl with hostility in his eyes.
Who was that man? Why did Luna treat him so gently?
Elgar became envious at that thought. His good mood had soured.
"Hey!"
Elgar took a step forward to assess Darryl. "Who are you?" Despite being the son of a leader, he paid no attention to Raksasa tribe matters. Naturally, he had no idea that person in front of him was the Queen's honored guest, the famous Darryl Darby.
"Elgar..." Loona was irritated by Elgar's arrogance. "Don't be rude. He is " she said as she walked forward.
Darryl cut her off before she could finish her sentence.
He shook his head at her and said with a smile to Elgar. "I'm her friend!" He had decided to come out to relax that day, so he did not want to be too high profile. Friend?
Elgar laughed. "And I thought you were someone important. It turns out you're just her friend. I am Elgar Hewitt, Loona's playmate since childhood."
His tone was filled with provocation.
How shameless!
Loona could not help but roll her eyes. She could not be bothered with him, so she said to Darryl softly, "I saw a jade scroll, but the owner is asking for a million bucks. I don't knew if it's worth it or not."
Darryl looked at the jade scroll and shook his head.
Darryl's knowledge of antiques allowed him to recognize that the jade scroll was a high-quality replica immediately.
Bloody hell!
Elgar was irritated when he noticed them whispering to themselves while ignoring him. He could not vent his rage on Loona, so he had to direct it at Darryl.
"Hey!" Elgar said to Darryl, "It looks
like you can't even fork out a million bucks. Stop whispering to
yourselves." From his point of view, Darryland Loona must be

discussing the price of the jade scroll.
BUMS
Then, Elgar fawningly said to Loona, "He can't even buy you a gift of a million bucks. How is he qualified to be your friend? I'll buy you that jade scroll." Then, Elgar proudly said to the owner, "Wrap it up!"
Awesome!
The owner responded and was about to wrap it up quickly. He had just started his business that day, and he had already made a million bucks. He was elated. Loona was unhappy. She furrowed her brows and said, "Elgar, who said I wanted you to buy that item? Can you stop being so annoying?"
