Unexpected Encounter with my Boss (Vincent and Tiffany)

Chapter 79

Brianna's phone buzzed twice, flashing with two images sent by Jenson.

The sight of the pictures sent her jolting to her feet, her eyes glued to the screen. She dialed Jenson's number again, and this time he answered. "Jenson, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Brianna demanded angrily.

A smirk practically dripped through Jenson's reply. "Getting agitated, Brianna? I've got a whole collection of these, photos, videos, you name it." "You're shameless, Jenson!"

"That's not news, Brianna. You'd better watch your step, or these precious little keepsakes might just find their way to your current boyfriend." Brianna's anger crumbled into a mask of forced tolerance. "What do you want? If it's money, I'll give it to you."

Jenson chuckled darkly. "I'm waiting for you at our usual spot. Ten minutes. If you're not there, those two photos take a little trip to William-" "I'm coming! I'll be there!"

She snatched her bag and stormed out the door. "Just you wait, Jenson!"

...

Tiffany stepped out of the shower, only to find her clothes and towel gone. A chill ran down her spine as she reached for the door handle, finding it locked from the outside.

Then, icy air blasted down from the vents. The sudden shock of cold against her damp skin made her shiver.

She yanked at the handle, and the realization of Brianna's scheme washed over her. "Brianna, open the door!" Silence hung in the air.

"Brianna, stop these childish games! Open up!"

Still, nothing came from the other side.

Tiffany shouted again and again, but the silence was her only answer. A knot of dread began to tighten in her chest as she remembered Brianna's unhinged behavior earlier.

Could Brianna really leave her to freeze to death?

Panic swelled inside her as her eyes darted around the room. She was desperate for something, anything, to pry the door open.

However, she found nothing. She slammed her body against the unyielding wood, but it remained stubbornly locked.

In her desperation, she heard her phone ringing from the bedroom.

Tiffany tried using voice commands

to answer, but it was too far away the phone couldn't hear her. The incoming call was disconnected after a while.

...

Meanwhile, Alex hung up the phone at Lewis Group.

He looked at Vincent. "Still no answer."

Vincent frowned. "What's going on? Go check on her. This is starting to feel wrong."

Driven by a mix of work duties and a desire to protect Tiffany's feelings, he had left early that morning.

The previous night's events had been less than ideal, and Tiffany's shy nature had made him want to avoid any potential embarrassment for her.

He had left a note and given her the

day off before leaving. Despite his actions, Vincent had found his

thoughts circling back to Tiffany. His

concern had grown steadily

throughout the day.

By evening, he couldn't shake the worry. He asked Alex to call and check in on her, but after several attempts, the calls went unanswered. Vincent's worry gnawed at him. Could Tiffany be in such despair that she'd act rashly?

"Alright, I'll go right now," Alex said.

As Alex turned to leave, Vincent stopped him. "Wait."

After a brief pause, he stood. "I'm coming with you."
