"Mr. Cameron, for old-time sake I will pretend I didn't hear what you just said, but the next time you would try calling my woman names, prepare for war." I I immediately hung up the call and smiled at Ronnie as if nothing happened.

She looked at me with admiration and said, "aside from my mum and bestie, no one has ever stood up for me."

"That's because they're stupid and have myopic reasoning," I replied her smiling.

I was about to initiate a kiss when her phone buzz suddenly interrupted my movement as she strode away toward the kitchen. "Hey bestie"

"Don't bestie me, I waited for your call but I guess it's still coming right" she refuted.

"Babe, I'm sorry for the oversight it's not intentional,"

"Ok, accepted"

I eavesdropped on their conversation for information if any man will be around during their shopping.

I was relieved when I finally heard it was just the both of them.

"See you by 2:30 pm at the mall," the friend said and hung up.

She walked back to the dining room and told me, "we've been sitting down here for hours without realizing it's almost launch time."

"Have asked Alan, to get us Domino's Pizza," I replied.

"Ok, let me go wash up and prepare for my shopping before the Pizza's arrival." She said and rushed upstairs.

I was still processing what Mr. Cameron, said about losing a hefty sum because of a lady.

I was contemplating over her feelings for me the moment we shared is real or just scripted by her.

I was lost in thoughts when Estella, suddenly said tapped me to reality.

"Sorry sir, have been talking to you but you've been absent-minded," she said.

"Uhm... Estella, what's the problem?"

"Nothing sir just wanted to ask what would you love to take for launch," she replied to me with a frightened countenance.

"Don't bother about that because Alan, will be here any moment with Pizza," I said smiling at her and finally asking her to ease up and go prepare what they will eat.

Alan arrived a little late because of traffic congestion due to school pupils crossing the roads.

Not long after Alan's arrival, I saw him looking towards the stairs and I redirected my gaze towards the stairs only to see an angel who escaped heaven descending gradually with the Autumn Leaves necklace and bracelet on her. "Alan, I guess you're tired of your eye's right?" I asked him sarcastically.

"Uhm... I'm sorry sir," he said frantically and positioned his eye's on the ground not daring to look up.

"Alan, why are you staring at the ground?" Ronnie asked immediately after she came to the table.

I immediately interjected and said "eat up before it gets cold" amidst smiling.

To our surprise both myself and Alan's, I heard, "Alan sit down let's eat together,"

Alan was speechless but regained his voice and declined politely, "Madam Katie, I'm ok thanks,"

But she wasn't taking no for an answer this afternoon, "you either sit down right now or I won't eat also. What's it gonna be?"

Alan was thrown into disarray because he knows I don't like people staying close by when she's beside me.

I smiled and asked him to sit.

After the launch, she left me and Alan and drove out in a BMW meant for errands in the mansion.

"This girl is something else, hahahahaha," I said laughing out loud.

The driver of the BMW was so scared of his skin because he initially refused her the key based on my order to all the drivers never to let her ride herself. But the table turned when she told him, "you either give me the keys or you're fired, what's it gonna be?"

"Alan, how many people do you have trailing her?"

"I placed 5 people inside the shopping mall and 6 shadow guards are trailing behind her car,"

"Good, keep close tabs on the situation around the mall. Off you go," I said dismissing him.

Ronnie drove to the shopping mall without any hitch.

Immediately she arrived at the mall, she saw her bestie already parking her car.

"Hey, babes,"

"You always arrive late for any date, latecomer." Her bestie said sarcastically.

Ronnie and her bestie's laughter drew attention to them because it was a weekend and many people came shopping also.

Inside the shopping mall, Ronnie and her friend were busy shopping when they suddenly heard a sarcastic remark from behind.

"I never knew this shopping mall is so cheap to allow every Tom and Dick in to shop."

They both turn only to see a familiar face looking at them scornfully.

"Oh, Aria, it's been a while since I was privileged seeing your pretty face," I require claim sarcastically.

"You bitch, do you know you're on my turf now and let me introduce you to my fiance," she said proudly dragging a chubby-looking guy forward.

"This is Tyrone and he's the general manager of Lux Corporation his annual take home is about 3 million. You can now see you're not a match for me bitch." Aria said with her shoulder held high.

"Hi, I'm Tyrone, and will like you both to behave and not offend my fiancee," he said.

My bestie was so infuriated that she called Tyrone out, "Tyrone, why blow your trumpet when nobody cares what sound you produce? I guessed you're not suffering from hallucinations do you think we are pushovers" "Bestie, why are you so hard on him, he's just trying to put on an air because people are watching,"

He was so infuriated that he said, "I will let this go away quickly if you both kneel to kowtow and slap yourselves or don't blame me,"

I just looked at him and said, "dream on,"

Before I realized what was happening, a burly man who was standing at his back suddenly walked up and gave us a resounding slap,

"Bitches, what's wrong with your voices, or have you both gone dumb?" She asked amidst laughter.

Immediately a supervisor walked up and asked, "Mr. Tyrone, who offended you?"

He just looked at us and told the supervisor, "if they don't kneel to kowtow and slap themselves, I will shut down this mall immediately by calling my lackeys to destroy everything." He said. The supervisor frantically tried pulling us down.
