Chapter 699: Who saved her
With a glimmer of hope, as if to reassure herself, Hall said to herself, "Marian is smart, she won't get caught."
Marian is certainly smart, otherwise he wouldn't have been so highly regarded by Hector before.
Thomas hooked the corner of his mouth, shattering his fantasy without mercy, and opened his lips to say, "Yes, clever, yes, but this life is ruined. It's ruined so completely that it will never see the light of day again, and if the prince catches you by accident one day, it's going to end badly."
"Stop it!" Hall snapped and drank, feeling the pain in his injured right hand.
Thomas got up and helped him look at the injury.
I couldn't stand the crude bandaging, so I tore a sheet and fixed it for him, hanging it around his neck, and said in a cold voice, "Take care of yourself."
Hall looked like he had been fished out of the water and his face and neck were covered in sweat.
He smelled so faintly that Thomas didn't even want to be near him.
"Thanks a lot." Hall tugged at the corner of his mouth.
Thomas grunted and couldn't resist saying again, "You can't do this, you're going to lose this arm sooner or later if you don't see a doctor." "One arm is enough." Hall said faintly.
Seeing him like this, Thomas was kind of convinced.
The environment is so depressing and Hall is so stubborn that Thomas is really at his wits' end.
He had every intention of pulling Hall out of hell, but now that Hall has fallen on his own, Thomas doesn't bother.
It was hard on Thomas' heart when his best buddy turned out to be like this, so he got up and prepared to leave. "Thomas," Hall called out to him suddenly.
Thomas stopped but didn't turn around, "What is it."
But after a long time without hearing Hall's answer, Thomas was in no hurry.
The air flowed in silence as the two men stood one on top of the other.
A few moments later, still hoarse, Hall asked, "How many men did the prince send out?"
The words seemed to come out of his throat.
"All Dark Guard squads, including Senior Captain Ramm."
Thomas's voice was unmoving, but Hall's face went white for a moment.
Ramm also joined the action...
Then Marian is left to fend for herself.
After Thomas left, Hall was left alone in the house again and the air was frighteningly silent.
But Hall couldn't stay calm any longer, not even the pain in his arm could distract him.
The prince went so far as to send out all his secret guards in order to capture Marian. Normally, Hector will only send one to two dark guards on a mission.
This time it was enough to see how much he had ordered.
Hall was desperate and could only pray that Marian would be smart and not get caught. Hospital.
Eloise woke up one late afternoon.
She was a little confused by the blinding white that met her eyes, and her eyes froze.
It took a while before it blinked gently and gradually regained its clarity.
It took a moment to realise that this was a hospital.
The sound of medical instruments came to her ears and Eloise's brain kicked into gear, remembering many things. She thought she was going to die, but she never thought it would be good to see the sun so vividly alive again. But who saved her then?
As she wondered, a group of paramedics rushed over.
At the first opportunity, Eloise was given a full body check-up.
At first the doctor's brow was furrowed, causing Eloise to think she had some new problem.
But it was good to see the doctor's frown loosen up later and Eloise couldn't help but feel relieved.
Only the pain in the injured area remains strong.
Immediately afterwards, with a brief conversation with the nurse, he left.
The nurse who stayed behind checked Eloise carefully to make sure there was nothing wrong before admonishing, "It will take a while for your wound to heal yet, so remember not to bother." At this Eloise nodded her head.
The oxygen mask became a little foggy from the rapid breathing.
Sleepiness struck at this point and Eloise couldn't help but fall back asleep.
When he heard that Eloise had woken up in the hospital, Rowson immediately dropped what he was doing and quickly rushed over.
Arrived almost the same time as Hector.
The two men met at the door and both did not give each other a good look.
The doctor was slightly confused, not understanding the identity of these two men.
Ignoring the hostile look from Rowson on one side, Hector inquired in a hushed voice, "How is she?"
The doctor pushed up his glasses, took out the case sheet and said, "He woke up half an hour ago, all the body indicators are normal, nothing dangerous at the moment, just waiting for the follow-up recovery." Hector breathed a few unseen sighs of relief.
Fortunately, God has not been kind to him.
"Doctor, can we go in and see her?" Rowson asked, not to be outdone.
The doctor glanced at him and then at Hector.
What exactly is the relationship between these two men and this woman...
But now was not the time for gossip, so I simply asked, as is customary, "Who are you to the patient? We only allow immediate family members in for visits."
"Husband." Rowson said submissively.
The words fell, only to see Hector's hand clench into a dark fist.
Without question, the doctor gave Rowson a direct order and then instructed, "Yes, but the patient is still very weak. Only one person can go in at a time, more than that would disturb her, be detrimental to her recovery and have germs." Seeing this Rowson said without hesitation, "I'll go in."
This time he almost married Eloise and it made sense to go in, nothing to fault.
Hector stood silently, a beaten sheet of inky black emotion tumbling under his eyes, making it impossible to guess what he was thinking.
The doctor inadvertently caught a glimpse and inexplicably felt a little cold.
He hurriedly averted his eyes, this patient's family was too strong, standing there, making people afraid to look straight at them.
Immediately afterwards Rowson went in in his isolation suit.
Hector stood outside the intensive care unit as the door closed in front of him.
He moved as if to see through the door panel to the person inside.
The tall, straight body stands up straight, but inexplicably has a touch of silence about it.
The nurses and patients' families couldn't help but look at him a few times, but they couldn't get half a glance from Hector.
Inside, Rowson's eyes watered a little at the sight of Eloise.
If the doctor hadn't said that Eloise couldn't be stimulated, he would have wanted to take her into his arms.
The moment he entered, Eloise's eyes opened.
Eloise, who had been sleeping for a few days, had lost a great deal of weight to the naked eye.
The sick suit loosely covers the body, and the eyes grow wider and wider, looking eloquent.
"Eloise, you're finally awake."
Rowson took a quick step to the side of the bed, gazing down at Eloise with a gaze full of gratitude and backlash. Eloise laughed weakly, her voice small.
"Well, let's worry about you guys."
Seeing Eloise's body covered in various tubes, Rowson asked distressed, "Good to be awake, does the wound still hurt?"
