Chapter 793: Still not a broken promise
The room was silent, and Eloise felt her heart beating like a drum, and could hear nothing else.
Hector looked at Eloise, whose ears were red to the point of dripping blood, and just felt his heart melt.
He carried her back to the bedroom and was about to deepen the kiss when suddenly Sweety's voice came through.
"Mummy! Mommy! My brother taught me to play with the Rubik's Cube!"
When Eloise heard the movement, her head, which had been clouded by Hector's kiss, instantly sobered up and her hands fumbled to push him away.
Hector was strong and held her like he didn't hear her, unwilling to let go.
There was a bang at the door, the sound of the door being slammed open and bouncing back against the wall.
Fearing that the child would see what the two had just done, Eloise hurriedly looked in the make-up mirror next to her to see if there was anything unusual on her cheeks. "Mummy, look!"
But before she could look, Sweety had rushed over and handed her the colourful Rubik's Cube in her hand, looking at her like she was offering a treasure, with a look that begged for praise.
The two little ones were already asleep when Sweety suddenly woke up from a nightmare and cried so much that Solomon was also woken up.
Hector's mother and Hector's father were completely helpless to deal with her, and Solomon rushed to find something to distract Sweety. This is what led to the current scene.
Eloise picked up her baby girl and planted a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Well, good, Sweety's good."
Sweety suddenly looked curiously at Eloise's lips and stared at her a little suspiciously and asked, "Mommy, what's wrong with your mouth?"
Eloise froze as her little hand still restlessly ran over it.
Turning her head to look at Hector, she gave him a shy look, mentally scrambling for an explanation, and stammered, "It's ... nothing."
Hector laughed lightly, straightened Sweety's somewhat dishevelled clothes and babbled in a serious way, "Mummy got bitten by a big mosquito, so that's what happened."
Eloise almost laughed out loud at this explanation, the big mosquito, it was Hector all right.
To the surprise of both of them, Sweety suddenly said with some envy, "I also want to be bitten by a big mosquito, Mummy's lips are so red and beautiful."
Now even Hector doesn't know how to explain it.
Eloise glared at him from a corner out of sight of her daughter.
It was as if it was saying, "You told your own lie, you can tell it yourself.
Fortunately, at that moment there was a rush of footsteps at the door and Solomon came rushing in, relieved to see his sister there.
But again, the atmosphere felt off and Solomon looked at the two adults a little strangely.
Sweety saw her brother appear and suddenly pointed at Eloise's lips and shouted, "Brother, come and look, Mummy has a big mosquito bite on her lip, it's so beautiful, I want it too!" Solomon took a closer look and it did look red like it was swollen.
But next to her, her daddy's face was not so good, and his eyes were cold.
Solomon thought back to his uneducated past and instantly understood what was going on.
"Sweety come here, brother has something more fun."
Solomon thought of the cold look his father had attached to his eyes and hastily dragged his sister down.
"Mummy, we're going to play."
Solomon spoke to Eloise while coaxing Sweety, "Come on, you can't be here, you'll grow a needle eye if you keep looking."
After saying that and tugging Sweety hurriedly towards the toy room, Eloise couldn't help but remind her from behind, "Get your sister's clothes in order!"
Solomon closed the door without looking back, "Yes Mummy!"
As he watched Solomon leave with his sister, Hector smiled, the boy knew a lot now.
Eloise looked at Hector with some complaint, "I blame you for the kids' misunderstanding."
Hector smiled unconcernedly and looked at her teasingly and laughed, "It's a big mosquito bite, it's got nothing to do with me."
Eloise was furious that this man was getting more and more aggressive, so she turned her head away from him and looked out of the window.
Hector smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind her, his lips falling on the top of her hair, his voice gentle, "Okay, I was wrong, I promise I won't do that again, don't be angry, okay?" Eloise grunted, feigning coldness as she looked back at her, "What's the point of a promise? It's still a broken promise."
Hector looked at her and wanted to kiss her, but thought that Eloise was angry and that he would never get the chance to do so again, so he held back.
"It's definitely true this time, trust me."
Looking at him with a serious face, Eloise knew deep down that his sweet words would make her faint.
Without realising it, she had become more and more of a little woman in Hector's presence.
She is no longer repulsed by his touch, as if she has already approved of their relationship from the bottom of her heart.
Seeing that Eloise seemed to be genuinely angry, Hector stepped from behind her to in front of her.
"For the last time, I swear to God."
Hector raises three fingers.
Eloise raised an eyebrow in distrust, "What if the oath is broken?"
Hector smiled wickedly and leaned over to whisper in her ear, "If you break this vow, Eloise will be punished by kissing me ten times."
Hot breath sprayed against her ears and Eloise just felt her ears tickle.
She couldn't help but blush and duck back, lightly hammering Hector's chest, "Not passing."
Hector smiled lowly, she really looked so cute that he wanted to rub her in his arms.
Eloise inclined her head to look in the mirror, which showed a shy woman hiding in the arms of a tall man, and her ears were indeed red again.
Wrapped up in his scent as much as she could, Eloise just felt Sweety for the rest of the night.
The following day, after a long discussion, the two decided to set a date for their return to France.
Hector's mother knew she couldn't stay any longer and hastily ordered her servants to go and prepare things for Rupert to do the hard work to bring them over.
Eloise came downstairs after packing and was greeted by the sight of a living room full of suitcases.
At this point Hector came downstairs and looked at the scene in the living room with some confusion.
"Mom, are you moving?"
Hector's mother hurriedly dragged Eloise over to introduce them all.
"Eloise, these are the ones I ordered to be prepared for your return to France, these are some domestic specialties our chef made himself, that one is new clothes for Solomon and Sweety, and this one is a box ..." Hector's mother also made a list in case we missed it.
Looking at the dense list of pieces, Eloise felt like she was going to faint.
Still, Hector's mother felt that she had not prepared enough and looked at Hector and asked, "Do you think that's enough?"
Hector helplessly helped Hector's mother to sit on the sofa, not wanting to dampen her enthusiasm.
"Mum, we can just worry about that ourselves, Aisly is pregnant, you should take care of her."
Rupert took the sheets and examined them one by one, holding his forehead straight aside and wiping the beads of sweat from his forehead, "Brother you'd better take it away, it's all a piece of Mom's heart."
