Chapter 827: Don't lie to me, tell the truth
The following day.
Eloise just felt uncomfortable, so sore and weak that she didn't even want to move her fingertips.
Turning, he rubbed himself into the warm chest at his side.
The man had long since woken up and could not help but feel a little amused at the sight of Eloise's little woman-like gesture. "Awake?"
"Well ..."
With a cry, Eloise felt like she couldn't even lift her eyes.
Hector, who was on some kind of medication last night, didn't let her sleep until midnight.
"It's afternoon."
Hector laughed, knowing that he had been tossing and turning last night and hadn't called out to her, but he hadn't expected her to sleep so well.
Eloise was dazed when she heard the time and immediately sat up, the covers slipping off her body to reveal a naked body.
"Ah..."
Eloise whimpered and rushed under the covers, but there was Hector's body beside her and a feeling of nowhere to run.
Hector looked at Eloise, who had burrowed her entire body under the covers, and couldn't help but lose his smile.
The two of them are an old married couple and she is still shy like a little girl.
Although in his eyes, Eloise is the girl for life, the one he can spoil for the rest of his life.
"Shame on you..."
Eloise was jarred, like an ostrich.
Hector reached up and pulled the covers off her, reaching out dotingly to scratch the tip of her nose, "Where have I not seen on you? Two kids already and you're still shy."
Although this was true, Eloise was even more embarrassed and buried herself in his arms.
The older he gets, the more he loses his sense of decency.
It went on for a while until Eloise shouted that she was hungry.
The two were only up and Hector cooked a meal himself.
Although it didn't taste humanly delicious, Eloise didn't mince words with her compliments.
"I'm going out later, so stay home by yourself and don't just go out. If you find anyone suspicious coming, don't open the door and call me immediately, or contact King if you can't find me." Hector poked Eloise's bulging cheeks, glanced at the time on his wristwatch and instructed.
Eloise the hamster lifted her head, struggled to swallow her meal and asked, "Where are you going?"
Somehow, she intuited that this time Hector was not going to an ordinary place.
"It's..."
"Don't lie to me, tell the truth."
Hearing this opening, Eloise gave Hector a very knowing glare and puffed out her breath.
Dumbfounded, Hector pinched her cheek and said, "I'll go find Rowson and get your papers back for you."
via Eloise faintly flinched at the name Rowson and lowered her head, looking a little glum.
"Don't you worry, nothing will happen to me."
Looking at Eloise for a long time without speaking, Hector thought she was worried about her safety.
After all, it's not too certain that Rowson, that madman, will do something in case he gets irritated.
Eloise bowed her head, and as if with some resolve, looked up again, met Hector's gaze and said firmly, "I'm going too." Hector frowned, naturally not quite agreeing.
This matter, though made light of by him, would still be dangerous.
But when Eloise's determined gaze was met, it was suddenly difficult to say no.
He knew Eloise's character, she wouldn't normally say that about something unless she was really determined.
"You're not allowed to say no, or I'll sneak along." Eloise looked at Hector's hesitation and knew that his heart must be in disagreement.
But this time she won't let Hector go alone, he's carrying all the pressure on his shoulders.
In fact, sometimes she wants to share some of his burden, especially when it has to do with her, and she wants to be there for him.
"Hmm."
Hector knows that in the end he will have to compromise. Eloise is usually a good girl, but even he can't stop her when she decides to do something.
It's good that he doesn't see Eloise as a little woman he keeps at home, but as the woman he wants to spend his life alongside.
When she saw him say yes, Eloise smiled with delight and sped up her meal, eating a lot of it with a lot of dignity.
After dinner, Hector was still a bit uneasy and explained a lot. Before leaving the house, he checked whether her shoes were worn and whether she would break her feet, and just about put a bulletproof vest on her. Eloise suspects that if he hadn't steadfastly refused more equipment, I'm afraid he really would have taken out a bulletproof vest.
When they arrived at the garage, Eloise got into the car she habitually drove, only to be pulled out by Hector, who instructed the other drivers to get in and told the driver to drive in the opposite direction to them. A night has passed and it's not good to say that Bergerian's people have checked in, so it's better to be careful.
He and Eloise, meanwhile, head out in a discreet car and slowly merge into the traffic, disappearing completely.
Hector did not park near Rowson's cottage, but further away.
He pulled Eloise out of the car and wrapped her small hand in his palm.
The two men had made a simple disguise, so they were not conspicuous.
Hector had already scouted out the route and the two men approached Rowson's small townhouse with ease, Hector pulling Eloise into a hiding place and scanning the area with a stern gaze.
I don't know if Rowson was too confident, but there were no bodyguards at the entrance.
"Come straight in, I know you're coming to see me."
