Chapter 841: The Destiny of Great Wealth and Prosperity
Early the next morning.
When the two little ones woke up, they were very good and instead of going to the living room on the ground floor to make a fuss, they went to Eloise's bedroom in pairs. "Brother, brother, come on!"
Sweety thumped her short legs to the bed, stepped on the sofa at the end of the bed and climbed into the bed in a nimble movement.
Then he waved at Solomon, who was standing by the bed, with big bright eyes like two grapes.
Solomon hesitated for a moment and beckoned to climb into the big bed.
Eloise was all sore and limp and slept so heavily that she didn't feel it even when the two little ones crawled up.
"Daddy, Daddy's up."
Sweety's small body crawled right over Hector and then sat next to his head.
She reached out and patted Hector's cheek with her little hand and said in a milky voice, "Daddy, get up and play with Sweety!"
Hector frowned and opened his eyes to see his little princess smiling at him Sweety, showing off her white little rice teeth, which made his heart soften. "Sweety, up so early? Awesome."
He sat up from the bed and reached up to rub his head, which was a little dizzy from the hangover.
But even then, afterwards, he still reached out and took Sweety into his arms, softly complimenting her.
Anyone can see how much he really loves Sweety, the little princess.
Solomon looked over at Hector, looked down to Eloise's cheek and barks a kiss, his voice crunchy, "Mummy, the sun is on your bottom."
Eloise's thick lashes fluttered before opening sleepy eyes.
I have to say that it was extremely nice to wake up and see my two little ones and the man I love so much.
Where was the displeasure of being woken up?
"Good morning Solomon, Sweety is awake too? That's awesome!"
Eloise rubbed Solomon's head and got up with a yawn.
"Daddy and Mummy are lazy pigs! Sweety has been awake for ages." Sweety giggled.
Eloise was a little embarrassed by Sweety's laugh and had to get out of bed and go wash up.
Hector played with Sweety and Solomon for a while, and when Eloise had finished washing up, he went in to do the same.
And then, the family of four went downstairs in one piece.
In the living room.
"Eloise, you're awake, Sweety, come and give Grandma a hug."
Hector's mother got up from the sofa and smilingly took Sweety from Eloise's arms.
Holding Sweety, she picked up Solomon again and walked him to the table.
It didn't take long for everyone to get up and come down for breakfast and there was a lot of fun at the table.
Considering Hector's hangover, Eloise cooked up some sober soup which was swept away by Hector and Rupert.
"Hector, I want to take Eloise and the girls to pay their respects at Nanshan Temple."
After feeding Sweety her breakfast, Hector's mother made a suggestion.
Hector didn't hesitate at the word and nodded his agreement straight away.
In the upper North District, the older generation was more feudal and the older people believed in Buddhism, especially his grandfather.
Hector's mother married into the family and was taken by the old man to the same Buddha.
She is convinced that the fact that Eloise is safe and sound is the blessing of the Buddha and the Bodhisattva.
Hector's mother visits Nanshan Temple every now and then to pay homage to Buddha.
And it was just as well, with nothing on hand and Eloise back in the country, so naturally I had to take the opportunity to go and pay my respects. "In-laws, I'll go with you too!"
Maryam hugged Solomon and hastened to make a statement.
"Mum, Rupert and I won't be accompanying you."
Hector had other things to attend to and could only apologise.
Naturally, Hector's mother and Maryam didn't care, leaving him and Rupert to get on with their work.
So Hector's mother was accompanied by Eloise, Maryam, and Aisly.
With the two little ones in tow, they were escorted by a chauffeur in a car to the Nanshan Temple.
The temple is on a hillside and the group got off at the foot of the hill.
In the early morning the mountains are surrounded by white mist, and the endless emerald green mountains can be seen faintly.
It is like a wonderland on earth.
"Grandma and Grandma! It's so beautiful here."
As soon as we got off the bus, Sweety pointed at Nanshan and yelled, causing the adults who had also come to Nanshan to look over with laughter. "Yeah, Sweety likes it just fine!"
The group took the cable car up the mountain and after getting off the cable car and walking a little further, the magnificent temple appeared in front of the group.
The three words "Nanshan Temple" are the first to catch the eye.
Probably influenced by the serious and solemn atmosphere of the temple, the two little ones also quieted down.
They were each holding an elder, with big eyes dripping all over the place.
Hector's mother led them from the Great Hall of the Buddha and then came out and said, "My mother, I heard that the Abbot of Nanshan Temple is very accurate in reading words, and since we are all here this time." "Then why not take the two children to meet the abbot and have him take a reading?"
When Maryam heard this, of course, she agreed without hesitation.
Eloise cried and could only help Aisly to follow, "Aisly, are you tired?"
"It's okay."
Aisly guffawed and shook her head.
Luckily, they had arrived early and found the abbot of the temple just as he was sending off some guests.
"Greetings to you all, several givers."
The abbot of the temple looked towards the oncoming Eloise and the others and bowed slightly with folded hands.
"Greetings, Master Abbot."
Hector's mother returned the gesture by releasing her hold on Sweety's hand.
"So it's Mrs. Eloise, Amitabha."
The abbot of the temple naturally knew Hector's mother who came every so often.
"Abbot, I've brought my granddaughter and grandson to see you for a reading, I wonder if you have time?" Hector's mother stated her purpose bluntly.
"A show of hands, monks, please come with me."
The abbot welcomed the group inside.
Eloise helped Aisly to sit down and a pair of eyes searched curiously.
Hector's mother and Maryam took the two little ones and gave their birth names to the Abbot.
The abbot also took the word test very seriously.
"Mrs Jin, your grandson and granddaughter's characters show that they will both be very rich and prosperous.
"Really? That's great! Master Abbot, please help me calculate the child in my daughter-in-law's belly again."
Hector's mother gestures gleefully at Aisly, who is pregnant.
The abbot was also very cooperative in taking the test and, like SweetySolomon, was blessed with great wealth and prosperity.
"Mummy, what does 'a life of great wealth and prosperity' mean?"
Solomon blinked and walked over to Eloise's side, her small hand tugging at the hem of her coat in confusion.
Eloise smiled and crouched down, brushing the palm of her hand against his head.
"It means that once Solomon you grow up to be a top man, you will have lots of toys and snacks later on." "Really?! Is it manly like Daddy?"
A child after all, Solomon's eyes lit up at the sound of toys and snacks and he eagerly asked for more. Eloise nodded solemnly, "Yeah."
"Master Abbot."
Maryam hesitated for a moment and went up to the abbot, "Can you look at my daughter?"
What would her daughter's future fate be after all the suffering she had endured?
If the abbot is accurate, why don't we take a test as well?
She believes that Eloise's road ahead cannot remain so rocky.
