Love Comes To Me

Chapter 842: Because you and I were made for each other

The abbot nodded and his eyes fell directly on Eloise.

Everyone in the room was also concerned about the road ahead for Eloise.

The host looked at Eloise for a moment, walked up to her and gently asked her about her birth date and a few questions so simple as to be irrelevant. He studied Eloise's cheek for a while, and his expression grew grave.

"Mrs. Eloise, this giver she ..."

The abbot's brow furrowed, and he was mid-sentence but suddenly silenced.

"Master, Eloise what happened to her?"

"Master, just say it!"

Maryam and Hector's mother's hearts were in their throats as they rushed to catch up.

Aisly couldn't help but hold Eloise's hand tighter too, affected by the nervousness of the two of them.

The abbot hesitated for a moment, probably because of the compassionate nature of monks.

He just couldn't bear to see two mothers looking so worried.

So, one can only speak frankly, "This monk has a lot of misfortunes in his life."

"Wh, what?!"

When Maryam heard this sentence, her cheeks instantly changed abruptly and her emotions flared up, not giving the abbot a chance to finish. "In-laws mother, take it easy, take it easy." Hector's mother hurriedly took Maryam's hand and patted it soothingly.

"However, if this monk survives this, he will be very rich and prosperous and enjoy the happiness of heaven in the future."

The abbot, fearing that the two would think too much of it, hastily went on to say the second half of the sentence. That comment was a relief, at least, as Maryam was no longer as agitated as she had been earlier.

Hector's mother looked at Eloise and, after a deep sigh, inquired anxiously, "O abbot, is there no way to break this?" Maryam also looked at the Abbot with hopeful eyes.

Her daughter had already suffered so much in the past, how could she still be plagued by many disasters? "My poor Eloise."

Maryam walked quickly to Eloise's side and took her other hand, her eyes red and close to tears. "Don't worry, Mum." Eloise held Maryam's hand a little helplessly and whispered reassuringly.

"Mrs. Eloise, it's really not that hard to defuse."

The abbot's words made Hector's mother and Maryam speak out as if they saw hope, urging him to continue.

"If the poor monk remembers correctly, Mr. Hector's life is hard and as long as the monk stays by his side, he will be able to dissolve the calamities in this monk's life." The abbot pondered for a moment and spoke slowly.

He remembered that the last time Hector's mother had brought Hector's birth date, he had taken it too.

People with hard lives generally impressed him.

After hearing this, Maryam and Hector's mother sort of let go.

Even without their input, Hector can't wait to be by Eloise's side 24 hours a day.

Since the abbot had told her that Eloise was destined for disaster, Hector's mother decided to make sure that the brat would not leave Eloise's house after her return. Hector's mother was relieved to think so.

On the way back, Hector's mother was discussing the matter with Maryam.

Eloise, sitting in the back seat, did not have much of a mood swing.

She was helpless and moved by the sight of the two elders worried about such a matter.

She did not believe in God or Buddha, let alone in fate.

If all fortunes can be counted, isn't it easy to avoid them?

What kind of life is that?

However, although she didn't believe in this, when she heard Hector's mother and Maryam mention what the host had said again, she couldn't help but wonder if she and Hector were destined to be together. It's a little sweet when you think about it.

When he returned home, he saw Hector, who had finished his business and was already at home.

As soon as the two little ones came home, they were busy running off to play in the toy room while the two oldest sat in the living room with sad faces as they continued to talk about what they had been talking about in the car. Eloise took Hector's arm very voluntarily and went back to the bedroom with him.

"I'm telling you, today Ma had that temple abbot read my words."

Once Hector heard this, he too came to a few moments of interest.

He reached out and took her soft body into his arms, waiting nicely for her to say more.

"The abbot said that I have a lot of misfortunes in my life, but that there is a person with a hard life who can turn it around for me -"

Eloise stretched out the end in a mock mysterious way.

"That man must be me." Hector said with a smile in his voice and certainty.

Eloise froze, puzzled, and asked, "How do you know that?"

"Because you and I were made for each other."

Eloise's little face brushed up and she glared at Hector.

Then he told the abbot's original story, one by one, and asked him at the end, "Do you believe all this?"

Hector listened in silence as his arms tightened, holding the person in his arms a little tighter.

"I will take good care of you in the future."

He buried his cheek in the nape of Eloise's neck and his voice was earnest.

Whether the abbot's words would come true or not, he would not let her be harmed in the slightest again.

"Well, I believe you!"

Eloise nodded, raising her lips in a contented smile.

She returned to the country for a rare visit and after warming up with Hector for a while, she dragged him out for a stroll. Enjoyed a good time for two.

--

Today is the day of Aisly's maternity check-up.

Eloise got up early and was going to accompany her.

Who was surprised when Solomon and Sweety gathered around her, clamouring to go along too.

He said he wanted to see the baby in his aunt's tummy.

Eloise didn't want to take them, but the little ones took turns being cute.

Aisly couldn't help but smile too, "Take it with you, the maternity check is fine."

"Well then, you'll have to behave yourselves when we get to the hospital."

Eloise also compromised.

When they arrived at the hospital, Rupert carefully helped Aisly to the maternity unit.

Because they had an appointment long ago, they did not need to queue like other pregnant women.

Not long after sitting down, a number of doctors and nurses passing by came to say hello to Aisly.

"Aisly, you're here for your maternity visit?"

"Aisly it's been a long time! Yo, this is your husband, right?"

Aisly had been a nurse here, and she was already well liked, and having married into the Rogers family, almost everyone in the hospital knew her. People who knew her well and those who didn't came over to talk to her.

Aisly smiles and nods her head in greeting one by one.

Rupert then put his arm around her shoulders in a show of sovereignty.

"Okay, Aisly, it's your turn." When Aisly's number was called, Rupert took her hand and led her into the ultrasound room.

Then Eloise heard the nurse inside speak very helplessly.

"Sir, would you please go and wait outside?"

"Why can't I be allowed to be here?"

"1

Eloise held back a laugh as she watched Rupert walk out of it with displeasure written all over his face.

"Just wait here, it won't take long." She waited for Rupert to sit over before she spoke with a smile.
