The Elemental Sisters: Spirit

Chapter Chapter Twenty- Seven (Tyr)

I had just left the throne room when Ezryn approached me. "Prince Tyr, your scouts have returned."

"Have they reported anything to you?" I asked as I headed down the hallway towards the sister's room.

"As you suspected, other allies of the goblins are attacking our allies, they couldn't get any intel on what the goblins are up to, a vast majority of their army have retreated home and only a few remained behind to hunt down the sisters." "They know where they are, so they must be planning their next move."

If the sisters joined our army to confront the Drow, they will be at even more risk from the goblins, especially if they are watching the Kingdom.

"The scout didn't learn what their next move was, just that Akasha was their primary target. They see her as a bigger threat because they believe she is the leader."

"I don't think she would agree with them. She views her sisters as her equals, but they look to her for guidance. I think the only one that doesn't see her as a leader is herself." "Should we report to your father?"

"Pass on the information to him. I don't think he will change his mind about anything, though. Instead of looking at the entire picture, he is looking at what will benefit him the best." "And what is that?"

"He wants Akasha and her sisters to help with the problems the Drow are causing. I personally think it would be best to go after the Goblins. They are leading the Drow and if we attack the goblins, all their allies will come to their aid. The Drow would leave and no longer torment the Kingdom. Although my father doesn't believe they are allied with the Goblins."

My father was blind to the goblins tactics I had sent a group of men to check out the neighboring kingdoms and different creatures that had allied with the goblins were attacking the elf and pixie allies. The Goblins were using this as a distraction as they fulfilled their main mission. If the Kingdoms were busy with their battles, there was no one to stand in their way.

"Do we know what the Goblins are after?"

"They are trying to get to the human realm, and they need the key to do that."

Akasha's vision was correct, if they opened it things could get really bad. The humans wouldn't stand a chance and the Goblins could easily conquer them.

In the past, the human realms and mythological realms were connected, and it was chaos. Some creatures and beings got along with the humans living in harmony and others like the Goblins did not. There were countless wars and unnecessary deaths.

The Pixies, fairies and elf's came up with a plan with their allies to help protect humans and combined their abilities and using old magic created a barrier forcing our realm and theirs apart sealing the gate with a key and hiding it, only they knew what the key actually was.

The Goblins and their allies were ticked but formed a truce with the ones that sealed the human realm off, hoping to find a way through the gate. They were unsuccessful and tried to the steal the key but could never find it.

It wasn't until their raid against the pixie kingdom that they learned about the prophecy of the elemental sisters and the key they were said to protect. With the new information, they hunted and killed all pixie villages in search of them and the key.

"I will get the scouts to report to your father and meet you back here." Ezryn stated with a bow as he turned to leave.

"Thank you. Make sure the scouts are paid well for their troubles." I paused for a minute, "Can you also see if anyone knows what is going on with the Queen, we haven't seen her around and Gia told me she wouldn't be here for long." He nodded "I will see what I can find out." he replied before he bowed and left. I headed to Akasha's door and knocked, after a minute Gia opened it.

"Is she awake?" I asked.

Gia shook her head. "She is still sleeping, she should awaken soon, but I don't think it will be tonight." She paused, "did you happen to see my sisters, they haven't returned yet."

I shook my head, "No, but if you want to go look for them, I can stay with Akasha."

"Thank you." She smiled as she moved past me and headed down the hallway.

I went into Akasha's room. She was asleep. I took a seat in the armchair that was in the corner of her room.

"I talked to my father; you have proven yourself. I wish he would've listened to begin with. Now the only problem is he wants to use you and your sisters to stop the Drow from attacking our kingdom before he will let you use his army against the Goblins. If I was in better standing with him, maybe he would listen to me, but as things are, he won't." I shared knowing that she was asleep and didn't hear me, but it felt good to vent my frustrations.

The door opened and Huricana skipped in. "If your father doesn't want to listen, we will just have to make quick work of the Drow. We have to stop the Goblins from what they are planning."

"How long have you been there? Why are you eavesdropping?"

"Sunama went for a walk with a..." she paused, "Someone and I got bored, so came back here."

"With whom?"

"Destiny." She giggled, "Cryptic, huh? Don't worry, you will know soon enough."

"Are you always this flippant about things?"

"Destiny, fate, prophecy, whatever you want to call it, have a plan, and it is not to be tampered with. Things have to happen in a certain way, or everything will be destroyed." "What do you mean?"

"It means you can't fuck with fate, or fate fucks you." She laughed.

"Great, so what does fate have in store for me?"

"No idea, just go with the flow and don't fight it."

'That's not helpful."

"I wasn't trying to be."

"Would you quit messing with him?" Ari scolded as she and Frey walked into the room.

"Why do you always ruin my fun?"

"It's not fun, you're being a brat."

She stuck out her tongue and left the room.

"Did Gia find you?"

Ari nodded, "Yeah, and she is in a mood. Don't want to get on her bad side. I mean, look at Akasha."

"I told you once and I will tell you again, it was an accident." She snapped from Akasha's doorway. "Shit... she heard me."

"Yes, I did, at least I can heal her."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means that you destroy everything. Fire breath."

"Screw you bark brain, at least I can aim." She yelled back.

"I think we should move this to the other room." I suggested when I saw their eyes flickering with their power.

"What? Why?" they asked, looking at me, confused.

I looked at Frey for help.

"He thinks your powers are going to slip and destroy everything, like your sleeping sister."

They turned to glare at me.

"I wouldn't have put it like that." I scolded Frey, who smiled at me and shrugged.

"We don't use our powers to hurt each other..." Ari looked at Gia "at least not normally." Ari put her hands up, "I know it was an accident, it is just fun to push your buttons." They glared at each other, then laughed.

"You sisters are confusing." I muttered as I left the room. The others following behind me. Gia was the last to leave Akasha's room, she closed the door behind her.

I heard a knock at the door, and I went to answer it when I opened the door. Sunama and Ezryn were standing there.

"Where were you?!" Gia screeched at her.

"I went for a walk and got lost. I ran into Ezryn, and he brought me back here."

Gia glared at her before turning to Ezryn, "Thank you for bringing her back."

"No problem. I was on my way here to speak to Prince Tyr." He looked at me and I could tell by his face that something was wrong. "Can we speak alone for a minute?" I nodded and followed him into the hallway.
