Honestly, Yvonne was very pretty. Even though she couldn't compare to Xena, she definitely had Wendy beat. Her figure was incredibly striking, especially when she was dressed head to toe in black. "I don't think we've met before."
Felix didn't recall ever knowing a woman named Yvonne.
He glanced back at the gravestone, and Yvonne's voice turned a little wistful. "My entire four
years of college were funded by Mr. Zeller Senior. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say he was like family to me. He was a good man, always humble about what he did.
"I only recently found out who he was. But by then, it was already too late."
A college student sponsored by his grandfather? Felix's brows relaxed.
It made sense. His grandfather, Phillip Zeller, had always been generous, often helping kids from underprivileged areas. Sponsoring a college student wasn't out of character for
him.
"You seem to be doing pretty well for yourself now. I'm sure my grandpa would be proud."
He walked over, pulling out the offerings he'd bought, and began arranging them neatly by the grave.
Yvonne remained silent, quietly watching. This was a time to honor emotions, not a moment to interrupt with words.
It wasn't until Felix finished his prayers that Yvonne finally spoke again. "I suppose you could say I'm doing alright now. Since Mr. Zeller Senior is no longer around, I'm planning to give back to his hometown, Avesburgh. "I'm thinking of starting a business there. Would you be interested? I could offer you the position of vice president."
Felix smiled. He knew her offer stemmed from the connection she had with Phillip.
"It's alright. I hope everything goes well for you in Avesburgh."
He had planned to leave right then, but after a moment's thought, he figured she was sincere and had shared a close bond with Phillip. So, he initiated another conversation.
"Let's exchange numbers. If you run into any trouble while setting up your business there, let me know. I'll help however I can."
"Really? Well, it seems like you're just as remarkable as your grandfather. Thank you in advance."

Chapter 91
After Felix left, Yvonne pulled out her phone.
"Did you meet him?"
"Yes. Your information was spot on. Thanks to Phillip, Felix didn't put up any guard with me. Honestly, my first impression of him wasn't bad at all."
With that, the call ended abruptly from the other end, but Yvonne wasn't surprised. It was just the way things were.
You could never truly know someone, no matter how good the first impression was. What mattered was what was buried deep inside.
But Yvonne suddenly laughed and shook her head.
"Even if Felix turns out to be exceptional, what difference does it make? Compared to you, he's got generations to catch up on. I don't get why you're so curious about him."
After Felix waited in his Range Rover for a while, Jack finally showed up. He seemed a lot more at ease now that the visit was over.
"Not bad, Felix. Driving a Range Rover now? Looks like you've done pretty well these past three years."
Felix teased back, "You were the guy driving a Bentley back in the day, and now, you're poking fun at me?"
Back then, Jack's family business was far more prominent than Felix's. It was no surprise that he'd gone abroad. Even after so many years, his parents were still living overseas. None of it could have happened without money But then, Jack unexpectedly gave a bitter smile.
"Family? My parents are the reason I came back. They had another kid-a boy. They've decided all their assets will go to him. So, since they don't need me anymore, why should I stick around abroad?"
